I'm a southie and I know her before Barfi happened to her. Yes she was a superstar and to be very honest she has that aura of one. Unfortunately for her, even though she can act, she was made to do crap roles and arm candies to so called superstars in Telugu industry itself. She may not be the best actress out there and definitely and strictly a director's actress. But she had so much potential that was shown in Barfi. To me she was the most likeable and relatable part of Barfi. If Anurag can extract that out of her, I'm pretty sure given that chance she can do much better. Alas, she was pushed to same kind of roles here, was forced to pick up shitty roles again. There are a lot of actresses like Ileana who after doing arm candies are trying hard to break out of that stereotype and to do different roles. Another example would be Trisha. The problem is in any industry good roles to actresses are always at minimum. And the ones happens to some selective actresses only. Either u must have been such a great actress or must be a star to demand for such roles(OR BE A STARKID AND HAS KJO PAPA AS MENTOR). If Illeana was given a lot of roles on a platter to prove herself after that amazing start, today she would have been on top(cos we know she is already a star in south, with acting chops, she could have reached atleast 50% of superstardom of Kat/DP level). Now we are stuck with Aloo paratha.

I think she is surviving only bcoz of nepotism. I mean if she was not Tiger's girlfriend, she would have vanished long back.

Yeah she is gorgeous but lacks spark. If she concentrates on acting instead of chasing a so called sexy image, she can do well. But then again, it depends.

IMO i find Kiara Advani more beautiful and has more screen presence than Disha while watching MS Dhoni.All were going gaga over Disha but I agree she was disappointing in Bhaagi 2

She is so boring. She works so much on her body but does zilch to improve her personality. Acting wise also she lacks X-factor. Why would she find takers when there are several other more popular lookalikes (Shraddha Kapoor)

it was only when the whole fiasco reg vikas and parth started that the rumours came that disha brokeup with him cos of vikas..but disha was close friends with vikas too...ofcourse now that vikas and parth are back to being best buddies everything is forgotten:)

but one thing i noticed then when kyy was on air, disha seemed totally into parth ..she used to follow a fc dedicated to both of them..and she was a regular on the kyy sets stiring quite a controversy because of her alleged interference..

thought its amazing to see how gracefully she moved on post breakup to not even acknowledging his presence these days or mentioning him anywhere..

well both were in the movie, still it was Disha who was got popular and it isn't like Disha showed skin the movie that she got popular.
That says something, while Kiara needed a masturbation scene to get noticed.
