IMO makers have for some time considered the show about the sister rivalry and when Imli's return didn't increase TRPs they decided to switch to mother vs daughter and that's why they're replacing Meera with a senior actress, the mother-daughter relationship will remain the focus.

So it's a mixture of stupidity in not recognizing the importance of Sukor and greed in not being satisfied with 1.3 TRP.

Trps increased after Sukor marriage happened and then all the ups were when Sukor the main concentration and even bhanduva track and Banaras track and till memory loss track this was the case

But like many shows,once a kid introduced show somehow lost few loyal viwers but still it make a comeback many times when Sukor was there in the focus.

It only changed because of channel stupid decision of changing time slot and giving focus to Anjor.

Right then there was no return of Udaan like it usually happened earlier.

But still it didn't stop them taking generation leap and moving ahead with Anjor.

The creative team and their decision making skills really commendable !!!!

Now trps not improved above 1.3 for more than a month now

How can they content with this result ?

Because we didn't see this patience as such before ??

The existence of Udaan known to me by MeeJay, Udaan is known by MeeJay to us.Thanks to them for such a wonderful udaan journey that had us engulfed in various emotions and we cherish it forever. Suraj,Chakor and Sukor are iconic,can never be explained in words the feel they brought in us. Such a potrayal isnt possible without putting their heart and soul into it with sheer dedication. Hats off for it. Thanks to them for everything . Will miss them a lot. Udaan is always been MeeJay's.

as you all know, I started watching udaan much later, for me literally I came to knew a show call udaan runs bcoz of MeeJay alone.

But after started watching MeeJay's udaan , I got to watch or read some updates of first phase of udaan too, saw spandan scenes too for some continuity. To know the history behind this second phase.

Both phase were well connected and traits of both, show and characters was carry forward nicely from that childhood phase to adulthood phase.

kids had done well and the second group of actors along with MeeJay made it shine and reach heights even an notch higher.

but now the story, writing is so bad and no connectivity at all with what message/type of story usually the show provides.
