I don't know about anyone else, but for me this makes Alia breaking the girl code even more prominent. It is very likely that what Katrina is sharing in interviews now she had shared with Alia in private at one point. Whatever the nature of Alia's relationship with Ranbir is, for the public they are selling it as a romance and one that is seemingly approved by his hard to please mother, and flaunted at every opportunity. It is basically being thrown in Katrina's face that the man that you once wanted to marry and have children with is with the woman you were close friends with just last Christmas.

@anjs & you2, I don't think Alia is as helpless as we might think. Yes KJo does run the show, but in all likelihood all he had to do was tell her this was the path to superstardom and becoming a power couple, and I bet you she was hooked. That being said, and given that the plans aren't working as well, I can totally see her PR going with the "she was too controlled' scenario. Not only does she not get blamed for her own miscalculations but she might even get some sympathy.

For the time being, Pinkvilla is reporting she's spending Christmas and New Years with RK and his parents in NYC 😆.

Ohh! This reminds me of that tell-all GQ interview she gave in 2015 where she talked about her relationship. She was unsure about Rk's commitment level back then and good for her that she has come to terms that her relationship with RK ending was the best thing that happened to her.

@anjs, see what I mean? 😆 Her PR can definitely spin this in her favor. But you are right, how can alia ever say no to KJo? Assuming this was initiated by KJo. Last year on KWK KJo himself joked that Varun and Alia get very involved with their movies' marketing.

As for New Years, it just means we are supposed to think all is set 😆.

@4thPrincoholic, while I agree that most of the blame will fall in Ranbir, Alia will suffer some PR damage as well because of the Katrina angle. She already is.
