Anupama Chopra brought that up and she said that she was invited to this show to go promote her movie and was handed the doll, and couldn't really cop an attitude and say she didn't want the doll. She said had she done that there would have been headlines that Sara Ali Khan didn't want to hold the Taimur doll and it would have turned into a whole other issue. Her explanation made sense to me. That being said, with Masand she more or less said Taimur's exposure was all the paparazzi and social media and nothing anyone could do about it. I suppose we can say she can't really criticize her father and step mother on TV, but her take on that was disappointing nonetheless.

She has however mentioned it more than once that her education and being away from home has given her a sense of what realistic life is really like. This is a perfect example of why she's being liked so much. She seems extremely aware and doesn't seem sheltered or in a Bollywood bubble which is something some celebrities twice her age suffer from.

As for Jhanvi, she's not dumb. She's actually very well spoken as well and has a good head on her shoulders. But she's more soft spoken so her personality doesn't jump at you.

as of now she is likable offscreen...

Cougar finds every new thing shiny and once they flop they are overrated.

I think she is the first star kid I have seen who knows what she's speaking. Her education reflects in her articulation. She comes across as smart, confident yet humble. If guided well, she can reach places. She has that starry aura too.

As I came to despise almost all useless star kids, I royally ignored this one too. But then I watched KwK and it changed my perception about this one. And then I watched few more interviews. She can actually speak for minutes without gossips. And that's refreshing after witnessing the kinds of Kareena, Sonam, Alia etc 😆

P.S. - I LOVE Amrita Singh and always wanted to see more of her. I loved her in RBGG and Aaina. Then in 2 States. SAK resembles her so much. I love her a bit more for that. 😳

I agree about Sara. I think she has a bright future.👍🏼 I don't think Jhanvi has a bright future. She is gonna be another Esha Deol.😆
