lol, don't bother to have such high expectations and then you're fine. It's also not just the men that make weird and inappropriate comments. I have seen actresses say creepy sounding things too.

I remember seeing an interview with Alia during Dear Zindagi time and the interviewer asked her something like how the script came to her and when she found out SRK would be doing it with her or something like that and she pops out with "I was wet!" Everyone stopped for a second and started laughing and then she corrected herself that she was in the shower and her hair was wet when she found out.

Imagine if a guy had said something similar. 😆

That shows that it's not just the actors that say such things, even the actresses say it, and I agree if an actor said Wat alia said they wud hav been crucified for it

So yes they all say silly things, I guess it's a culture where making such jokes has been normalised, it's not right but even subconsciously they all do it, hopefully they can realise more how Wat they r saying is going to be perceived before they say it

There should be a limit of everything yaar! You cannot really defend your favorite when he says such creepy words to someone, that's an absolutely bad example and if such issue is taken very lightly today, then tomorrow there will be another actor to behave this way and such thing will keep repeating itself. It's not only a silly thing and neither you can normalize it. Whatever he said to the journalist was absolutely disrespectful and mannerless. Period!

what he said is just silly and not creepy so lets normalize it labelling it as fanwar and tit for tat. What others do is creepy! Selective women rights wont do any good. Its amazing people would go orgasmic on one actors' antics and call out others on similar behaviour.

did u read wat i wrote properly? i didn't defend anyone for saying such things, i even said that i hope they all think before they say such things, wat i am saying is saying such jokes has become normalised in society that wen they say it they dont even realise that wat they r saying is going to be perceived a certain way, and that needs to change, take alia for example, she said it as a joke but then realised it wasn't appropriate then changed her statement, all of them need to realise that they shudn't say such things, even if they think they r saying a harmless joke its important that such things do not become normalised in society

THIS!!

This topic has been discussed to death and almost every Ranveer fan bashed Ranveer. We have our morality in tact unlike certain people.

Orgasm ki baat karey toh When someone says " when I speak to a woman, I'd like her to be lying down " then all these go "ooh aah ooh aah".

I love Ranveer but I will not defend or justify his remarks here. What he said was inappropiate eventhough such jokes and puns have been normalized in our society. He may have a close friendly relationship with the paps and they may have that type of equation and comfort level where cracking such jokes maybe a normal thing between them but he should refrain from doing so. Period.
ETA: Ranveer's comment does not negate the fact that this thread was specifically made in retaliation to the previous thread about Ranbir's sleazy comments and also to normalize Ranbir's comments. This is a tit for tat thread in the guise of calling out such inappropiate workplace behaviour.

Again, nobody made excuses for RK's behaviour in the other thread. For one, it was an edited video, and two, he shared a certain comfort level with Kat which is why the behaviour may not seem as horrendous(to some) as it did to u. Im not supporting RK here, just stating what others may have felt.

Also, if u really want to call out this inappropriate behaviour then stop drooling over these stars and praising them, really. Thats the only way they can come out of their high handed behaviour, if at all u would like to believe that they can. Acknowledging their wrongdoing is great, but it doesn't do much to change their behaviour. I don't think we should be under the delusion that it will in future either.

Arreh. Not just my comments and certainly not just on IF. If a collective call out a problematic behaviour it does make headlines. It has happened plenty of times. In fact the entire Nush plagiarism episode started here and catapulted to SM and eventually reached Anushka. So pipe down with that calling out something here or on SM wont lead to anything. And lmao. I've never seen that clip before. I wasn't even on here on IF so reacted and called him out today. And funny how you say that nobody made excuses for Ranbir on that thread while you make that case that it was perhaps a joke with this gf. And oh boy the excuses were the reason i commented in the first place. And again repeat it again regardless of Katrina's reaction he made a sexual pass at her at workplace. Now anyone who thinks otherwise is naive. Not me. Simple. I don't need a huge analysis of their relationship and all that shit. I'm least bothered. Hence my posts.

I am not a blind fan of anyone here. I see something nice I praise it. I see something creepy and pathetic, I say it. Biased unbiased all that shit people say here doesn't matter to me 😆Just because I praise someone's wedding am suddenly their fan and I owe my life to them and all my other opinions are null and void and i cant call out their shit behaviour? They dont pay bills lol nor do I invest in these stars personally. On this forum I'm gonna praise and criticize in equal measure.

And lastly i don't its naive to think stars can mend their ways. But that's not even the concern here. I want them to behave in a way thats not creepy. Now if that happens through ways of SM calling out so be it lol. Who cares. And no looking at the current scenario change is actually possible in India. I would have been cynical few years ago but not anymore.

Anyway am beat. Ciao. 😆
