When did Berangu confirm Jenny's south movie? I think she may have done a cameo in a movie or may be an item song. Looking at the current state of most of the South film industry, I would say that it would be a career suicide if Jenny leaves television for South films. Most of the heroines roles down South are only for glamor and skin show and romance. There are very few heroine oriented strong roles.

I agree with u on south indian films di during 90s and 80 tamil(since i dnt knw about other lanuguage movies)movies had strong FL roles and inbetween the number got reduced nd now most of the movies are commercial movies with actresses used oly for love portions, but heroine oriented subjects/ films with equal importance for FL are again increasing in numbers now! Movies like kaaka muttai,then merku paruva katru, aram,maya,96,dharmadhurai,bahubali(bilingual), 7am arivu ,imaika nodigal nadigayar thilagam and many movies had strong female characters/leads. But disadvantage is new comers taking bold concept is rare in tamil industry! I dnt knw which movie jenny is doing. But she will definitely not do cliche roles that much iam sure.

@pollywarn I am checking on south news portal. Will update any news on Jenny movie. @subha it depends on the director in south. Need to check whose project Jenny is taking. South still had fanastic stories.Tamil especially followed by Malayalam. This yr national award should have gone to Parvathy for take off. I guess because sridevi died they gave it to her and parvathy only for special mention.

Jenny wrote in her IG post that she's taking a short break and then will come back in a new avatar so I feel her shooting for that film is over last week itself. She's hardly seen in last 3 episodes that means she took 4-5 days leave to shoot for the movie so it must be a cameo.

Shruthi in south even if u have strong female oriented roles they r given to established senior actresses there like Parvathy, Anushka Shetty, Samantha etc. I don't see people from north getting prominent roles there. Kajal Aggarwal or Tamannaah have only done eye candy kinda roles n they barely have substance. Even Tapsee Pannu did those kind of roles down south before she got roles in Bollywood that broke that image of hers. Like Shakti Arora said it's better to rule tellydom than beg in Bollywood. It's really hard for Jenny to establish herself now in movie industry. She is competing with much younger girls there and that's the reality. I wish she sticks to television.
