Episode begins with Anu holding Pre close to himself tightly
Anu warns Pre that she should break her engagement to navu because anu will never let her marry Navu .
Pre protests ..but Anu stops her saying if she made a noise Navu would come to know they were together n he will think they were having an affair n would brreak the engagement himself !!pre protsts and anu tries to stop her .. She escapes from his grip n bangs against the door n gives out a yelp
Navu hears her voice and calls out to pre ..
Anurag says it was him ...how could pre be here ..it was his washroom
Navu says he heard Pre's voice ...Anu says he was getting old n hearing voices .
Navu says he better not talk about age , even today he was a better dancer than Anu ... challenges him to dance with him on the song .."saajan ji ghar aaye .."
Pre cant stop giggling
Navu hears this n asks Any why was he laughing with female voice ?? Anu says it was his fav way of bathroom singing .Pre has tough time suppressing her laughter .
Navu says he knew he was having an affair with a girl,n they were together in his washroom .
Anu denies . Nabu says anu better be right because a spl girl was coming to the function splly fr Anu and Mohini was very excited in anticipation and if badi di liked that girl.. Most probably Navu n Anu both will get saat phere at same mandap
Anu pre not pleased to hear this .
Pre complains that he never told anyone that he was seeing girls for his alliance ..anu replies that it was his mom who was always bride hunting for him .
Nav leaves to look for Prerna .He tells himself that once anu laid his eyes on Komolika he would have eyes only for her and would see komolika everywhere .
Pre asks Anu to check if the coast was clear ..if they could come out of this washroom where it seemed they have been for ever . Anu checks out and they finally come out .
At venue pandit calls groom... Navu is already there . Pandit asks gifts for the bride to be brought there. Mohini asks nivi . Navu gifts the sharma family lavishly with chunky gold jewellery
Anjali and shivani gigle as Navu calls Rajesh "papa ji "
Rajesh, Veena, mahesh, shekhar feel embarrassed to receive expensve gifts .
Only suman grabs them greedily with a big smile .
Mohini's friends remark that ordinarily the bride's family gifts the groom's family ..but here it was dff matter
Sharma's must be finding it difficlt to match mohini's standards n style
Mohini smiles proudly and sharma's feel bellittled n insulted .
Pandit ji asks Sharmas to gift the groom's family .
Veena meekly offers what they had brought ... sweets, dry fruits and fresh fruits as gifts and a small chain for the groom.
Nivi and mohini smirk at this . Nabu says he liked her gift . Moloy walks up to veena bhabhi n praises her gifts which had love n feelings . Sharma family's gifts were incomparable to Basu family gifts. Veena glances at mohini .
Moloy says they were gifting their daughter whom they have brought up with full sanskaar .. She was so capable .. Every one desired a bahu like Prerna . Mohini feels annoyed.
Moloy says thats why Navu was impressed with pre and was mad after her . There could be no gift greater that beti . Rajesh n Veens finally feel comfortable and at ease thanks to Moloy
Shivani claps on hearing this .. Mohini is annoyed but Tapur too joins in clapping
Soon the entire crowd is clapping much to Mohini's disapproval ..
Anu pre are about to leave Anu's room when Anu stops her , she protests they were getting late
Anu asks why was she in hurry to marry Navu ?? He wanted to cancel it .
Pre is now annoyed with Anu... right then Anupam interrupts the two by loudly singing .." Tu pyaar hai kissi aur ka ..tujhe chaahta koi aur hai .."
Anu pre embarrassed eyelock .
Anupam says not to worry he saw n heard nothing .
Anu protests that there was nothing happening here that he needed to see. Anupam explains that what he saw was of no consequence but they both shd understand that ...
Pre leaves making an excuse ... So does Anu
Anupam mutters to himself that kahaani mein twist !!! Claps merrily ..saying...but the two of them looked cute together .
Veena asks pre where had she been .. Pre recollects all her close moments with Anu in the washroom...she makes an excuse of taking time to adjust her saree.
Anu pre are seated together. Pandit ji asks Groom to gift the bride . After that they will exchange rings at muhurat .
Navu gifts an extremely expensive jewellery set to Pre. Nivi thinks that middle class girls were just good at looting .
Pre is reluctant to accept this gift Navu persuades her .. Pre declines .. Pre feels she already had loads of gifts in the form of sanskaar given to her by her family .
Moloy interrupts saying she should keep those sanskaar for those who respected those sanskaars and were deserving of those .Rajesh Smiles as Moloy praises Pre and her sanskaar .
Anu receives an address from the person he had asked to acquire it secretly . Anu says this adress was of Navu's jaan .. Anu asks his friend to hold the fort while he went to get Jaan'
Pandit declares gifting ceremony was over . Ring exchange rasam muhurat would begin exactly as 8 PM
Navu gets call from Choubey ji that he was caught in traffc jam of kolkata . But his beti komolika would reach the venue befor him . Nabu is pleased to hear that , cuts the call politely .Navu mutters that anurag would be out of his senses once he laid his eyes on Komo .
As Anu is walking out of the house he looks at Pre laughing with her friends n family . He tells himself that what ever he was doing was for the sake of Pre . He did nOt want Pre to get engaged to Navu . Because ... Long pause .. Pre stares back at Anu n they have eyelock ..
Pre catches him staring at her ... Anu feels navu did not deserve Pre ...
Saasuma mohini interrupts Pre's happy banter with her friends by remarking that it was incorrect on Pre's part to decline the heavy jewellery set offered by Navu . Although she too disagreed with navu's theory about heavy jewellery made the bahu bend before the In Laws .. Mohini believed that bahu betis should be laden with jewellery .
Mohini asks her to try something from her side ... She hoped she would not find it heavy .
Pre opens the box to find gold waistband ..kamar patta .. She asks Pre to wear it . Pre agrees . Anjali and Shivani love this gift and are happy saasu maa was so concerned abut bahu . Anjali is impressed with saasuma
She too wanted to marry anurag n become Mohini's bahu . Anjali, Shivani, Pre discuss how they wanted to be the centre of attraction of all guys . Pre shuts them up by saying this was just figment of imagination . This Nikaa type girls could never happen for real ... Nikaa means Nakhrey ..
Komolika arrives at Basu mansion .. In red n black lehenga ..." Nikaa ..."plays in BG as she gets off her expensive car walks into the venue .
"Nikaaa .." Plays in Bg as she walks in and all guys of all ages seem to get attracted n start drooling on the lehenga choli clad girl walking with a sway of her hips n tinkling of ghungroos .
Komo walks in n notices Anu walking out.. Anu is busy studying the address in his hand .. Komo purposely drops a hanky .. Anu stops to pic up something that fell before him ... Anu is busy picking up some nails that are lying on the ground.. He wonders how they came there ..some one might get hurt .
Komo thinks that it was the same story again .. Boy picks up her hanky..tries to get familiar..tries to come close ...boring ... ..
Many guys come rushng to pick up the fallen hanky ..they start fighting over it . Anu walks away after picking up some nails n does not turn back
Komo stares after him ..as he gets into hs car n drives off without even a glance at her ...she is impressed ... She finds it strange that a guy did not stare at her .. She feels sorry that it was his loss. He would never have taken his eyes off her had he glanced at her . ..Komo ignores the guys squabbling over her hanky n walks away .
Anu reaches Jaan's house... He hopes to catch jaan ...
He recollects Nav jaan close moments .
He feels bad for Pre . He vouches that as long as Anu was there Navu would never get Pre .
He presses the calling bell ..he decides to tell jaan that Navu had met with accident he was asking for jaan urgently ... He thinks of taking her to the venue and exposingnNav Jaan rishtaa publicly
