Yeah I also expected Tej to be faking it. But Anika (SC) and Shivaay even after 5 years believe that Tej is dead or so it seems from her IV. He may still be faking it and that may be the big reveal that may happen later 😆. But then the 5 year sentence doesn't make sense if everyone believes he is dead even if he is not.
