Chap 3
"Do you know how much i missed you Pre?", he whispered against my lips, nibbling them lightly. Trust me age has done wonderful this to him. I wonder whether he was with someone else when i wasnt in his life. A sudden jealousy hit me hard. I grabbed him by his shoulders and pulled me towards me. Gone was the day when I had felt shy against him. I clearly remembered out first night where i was shy. He did things to me which i had no idea about. But that was then and this is now. 15 years of maturity gave me the knowledge about how to pleasure a man. Ya fine i have never tired it on someone but then i wasnt that naive anymore.
"Oh! I missed you too", I bit his lips earning a loud growl from him.
"Fierce, are we?", he fist my hair.
I quickly worked on his jeans and pulled it down. He too helped me with that.
"Wow! baby you are gone today", he promised me and then with one swift motion he pulled my top and throw it across the room. Slowly he caressed my belly giving goose bumps all over my body. Oh! How I craved his touch.
"She was here? Wasnt she?", my eyes flew opened to connect with him but he was looking at my tummy. His caress has now changed totally. I could just breath matching every moment of his fingers. His nails were making me aware of his touch everytime my tummy quivered in anticipation.
"Yes she was", I finally replied to his question. He shifted and made himself comfortable right above my tummy. With slow movements he circled my navel. And the next thing he did shocked me.
"Hi Baby!", a tear dropped on my tummy. I tried to get up to console him but then he touch my chest to flatten me silently asking me to rest while he speak to our unborn. "I am your daddy", he wrote that with his finger tips on my skin. "Where ever you are you should know that ware I am in love with you my doll", some more tears slipped adoring his chiseled jaw. And i just couldnot control my emotions anymore. I clutched the bed-sheet and cried silently looking at an adorable dad pouring his heart out for the baby who didnt even take her first breath.
He placed his head on my tummy and silently cried for sometime holding me tightly, rather holding us tightly.
"Prerna! I want her back in our life", and then he saw me. Our eyes met, shocked, happy and i didnt know how to react. He slid up and held my head. "I want my baby back. Our baby back".
"But...Anurag how...?"
"Like this", he pulled me to him and kissed me like there is no tomorrow. Gone was that polite man. Gone was that boy with whom I broke my virginity at the age of 18. He is all man.
"Oh baby! I want you. I want you right now", he cried as if in pain
"More i whispered.
He grabbed my neck and lightly squeezed it. "Tell me there was no one after me. Yes tell me my feeling is true".
"Anurag, It was..."
"Doesnt matter... because now you are going to me mine".

I dont know how long I had slept. I turned to see his peaceful face against my boobs. All I could do was to smile.
"Good Morning", he said in a sleepy voice.
"Hey you", I kissed his forehead.
I switched on the bedside light as it was still dark outside and the really slapped me on my face. Oh My God. The photograph of Aparna and me mocked our previous night.
"NO No NO", i got out of the bed immediately.
"What the f**k just happened?", he looked at me confused and then he looked at where I was looking.
"Prerna, wait...listen to me".
"No..", I broke down yet again. This just cant happen. Whatever has happened it was not suppose to happen. It was cheating and I cheated on my best friend. They are about to get married and here I am sleeping with her would be husband.
"Stop it", he covered his lower part with the quilt. "You are over reacting".
"Get out of my room Anurag. Please".
"Prerna, baby!", he tried to touch my cheeks.
"No, please I beg you. Please go".
"No I am not leaving. Not when you are in this state".
"I just cant do this to her. She loves you".
"We did what we did Prerna and now there is no looking back".
"I can never forgive myself for what I have done".
He came and jerked me then. "Are you out of your senses? What do you mean? Do you think she will marry me knowing that I am the father of your child?"
I just couldn't say anything and just wiped.
"You think her family members will accept this? Do you think she will even take this that you have hid this to her for so long and you didnt even tell her even when you got to know that we might get married? No she wont. So you better gear up for tomorrow's breakfast. I am going to tell the truth now".
"No you wont say any such thing. you have given your words to papa that you are going to marry his daughter. You just cant ditch them now Aranv. No one will come to know about this, about us. It will die with my and you. Please for god sake dont do this. they have done a lot for me. I am here because of them and I am ever indebted".
"Fine, as you wish. I will do as you say, as for their daughter's hand". With that he dressed himself up and then he was gone.
His parting words shattered her the most. But isnt that what she wanted?

The breakfast table was silent. The only sound everyone could here was the clock ticking. They didnt know how to react, what to say. Such a big secret I just kept inside her all these years.
"I am sorry Lav".
"Dont you dare talk to me Prerna!", she came and hugged me tightly. "How could you even think that I would agree to get married to him after listening to this? And you stupid girl, you went to sacrifice your love just because of your best friend? No way buddy".
Anurag who was leaning on the fridge came and sat beside Aparna's dad. "Today as Prerna wants I am going to ask for your daughter's hand".
"Anurag", Aparna tried to stop him but he stopped her.
"Please give me Prerna".
"No!" I cried, half protesting and half wanting.
"She is the mother of my unborn and I still love her too much papa".
Aparna grabbed my hand and pulled me towards Anurag.
"Stupid, you need to kneel infront of her not in front of her father. Come on handsome ask now".
"Please Prerna!", his voice was pained, his eyes were misty.
All I did is nod in affirmation before I collapsed in his arms on the floor.
