Siddhant Karnick supports Drashti Dhami as she faces the heat for playing the other woman in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka

Drashti Dhami and Shakti Arora's new show Silsila Badallte Rishton Ka has been making news for its bold subject. Both the leads have played positive characters so far and viewers are having a tough time accepting them as a straying husband and woman who becomes the home-breaker for her best friend, Mauli who shelters her in the tough times. A lot of people are extremely upset that extramarital affair is being shown so openly on prime-time TV and how shameless' the leads are. A lot of flak has come in for Drashti who has played innocent characters so far. Her good friend and former costar from Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani shared a memory from the show on his Insta page. He wrote about how the actress is a professional no matter what is being thrown at her. He openly expressed his admiration for her. Needless to say, Drashti's current show has raised in the comments section. Finally, Siddhant said that it was an actor's duty to play different parts and he himself liked the uglier characters more.
