My friend is stuck in an abusive marriage n she is not able to come out of it. Her hubby drinks n looses his senses when he is drunk. He abuses her n the nxt day will apologise to her by falling at her feet. It has been like this for the past 10 yrs. They have 2 sons n the boys now want their mother to apply for divorce. That moron husband of hers is not willing to give her that. My friend refuses to fill a complaint against him saying she does not want everyone to know her marriage. Her lawyer friend advised her to move out this city n go live with her sister n parents (they live in another state), just like what we discuss in this forum. My idiotic friend is not willing for that too becos her younger son is in 11th std. she does not want to jeopardise his studies at this juncture. She is in a very sorry state now. She has so much of health problems n her mental state is pathetic. She is even scared to open the front door if anybody rings the bell. She has stopped socialising n no contacts with any of her friends except 2or3. I'm one of them. She looks haggard n almost dead on her feet. MEN r a big NO in her life.
I have seen first hand what an abusive marriage can do to a person. Maybe that's why I'm not able to relate to Nandini. I mean who jumps into a relationship when u r not even out of the previous one. Nobody decks up like this n act all normal in life. (Though D looks stunning in her silk cotton sarees) . I feel it is a desperate attempt by the cvs to make the audience accept this couple n their so called love .

We too supported our staff who is me friend alsothrough it
She was abused by the husband who end up as a substance user for yrs
Four yrs back she finally took the after living with monster fir fifteen yrs
Every day she hoped him to change .
One night neighbour called police , she finally had courage to file a complaint against him
She walked out in the middle of the night leaving children , stayed at wirk place with sp permission
Later moved to a room slowly to a house
She got her children with police help filed for divorce , which he refused still court granted her .
She is a free woman now , she is still very careful with men.
Refusing any dating etc, enjoying her new life with traveling etc
Finally she can breath freely ...
She says "loves the freedom".. Will never loose it will never take another man ...
Stll young because was an early marriage ...
Have seen few more victims but none like Nandini
CVs are even making fun of abused , victims of domestic violence
By painting them in a very diff way .
They don't cry much even tears disappear from their eyes ...
