Isn't this bad publicity for the film? Like seriously, after all the drama that's already happened, director taking actor to court... πŸ˜•

Sara's parents went and lobbied for the film...They probably told Abhishek he could cash in on the debut hype for Sara.
Then they ditched it and ran as soon as there was some production trouble and KJo came with his candy.
Abhishek Kapoor and even Sushant have full right to be pissed particularly, if it was a part of the contract.

This is the first time I am hearing something like dragging an actor to court due to unavailability of dates.

Whatever it was, it should have been settled amicably. Abhishek may not really attract top actors to act in his movies if this is the reputation he wants to build up for himself.

A similar situation happened with Deepika with Race 2 in 2012. That also got delayed multiple times which messed up her schedule and she wanted to do something else so she walked out after 5 days of shoot. But then after getting threatened with legal action she ended up doing Race 2. Everyone ,including the Race 2 producer a few months later, says she's professional so I guess she didn't wanna tarnish her professional reputation.
