Thakur and Lakhan Pal deserve much more than just death. They are bigger threat to the society than people like Namrata or Inder.  Namrata and Inder are selfish people, killing people, kidnapping , threatening them but they did everything for their own selfish motives. Thakur however was doing this because he was scared of KB's wrath. He never had any personal grudge against Rahul but he wanted him dead because Rahul had an opinion that didn't match his.

Thakur as the mukhiya of the temple allowed the murders to happen. Had he applied some brain many lives could have been saved. He along with villagers stopped the police from entering the temple. He forced people to accept KB's punishment. Not only this he had been so disrespectful to those who died in the temple. Their dead bodies never reached home. So, KB punished him in a way where he had to witness the death of his own son and got almost murdered by his own daughter. His daughter framed him and he lost his Mukhiya post. Although Namrata's sins has been exposed he is now a man without a family. He has to live like this. The power struggle around the temple that killed many even in his own family has become so trivial today. He has no heir left to take over the temple.

As for Namrata. She was born rich and influential. She lived a protected life under a caring father and loving brother. She has lost her family. She wantes money. She has lost it. She had friends like Rahul, Gauri and even Latika. She lost it. She loved Rahul and she lost it. Rest of her life will be spend in a lonely prison cell.
