His dark blue suit, yellow and red checkered tie, and bulky frame merged with the armchair he was resting on. ACP Pradyuman, his salt and pepper moustache glistened in the the dimlight of the hallway, where he sat with his two best-friends, Dr Salunke and Dr Sheldon Cooper. Dr Salunke was a short man with half-moon spectacles, and egg-shaped head and a giant paunch. His khakhi shorts, ended just where his socks ended, and he sat slouched opposite the ACP. Sheldon sat to his left, markedly different, and visibly uncomfortable, in his Avengers t-shirt, beige pants, and scrunched up nose. He never quite liked visiting his friends in India.
Their bald heads shone. "Why are we sitting in darkness?
"There is a power-cut, Sheldon, how many times do we tell you yaar? retorted Salunke, sweat beads rolling down his face.
"We are men of science. Why don't you have backup power at your house? You are so not prepared for any emergency, he replied, squirming in his seat. "I can't even find m veil!
