PART 1
"Haan mamma I have reached the airport. ...aah ok" the man ended the call and started searching for someone. His eye balls were moving in all directions but still they were not meeting their desired destination.
Suddenly a lady tapped on his shoulder from back "Arnav"
The man turned and smiled "Aap yaha hain...I was looking for you only."
The girl smiled "Wo...I went to the washroom. "
"Aah it's completely ok..." he smiled and showed her the way.
"Khushi give me your bag" he took the bag and started walking towards the Exit along with her.
The man was Arnav Raizada who had come to pick his 1 month old wife Khushi Raizada from the airport .
Arnav Raizada was a software engineer settled in Pune, who got married to Khushi just a month back. Since he was living in a bachelor pad then..he couldn't bring Khushi with him immediately after they got married. But now he has found himself a 2 BHK flat ...so now his wife was here to live with him.
Theirs was an arranged marriage. ..and here is how the two of them got married. .
FLASHBACK STARTS
"Arnav..." Rashmi(Arnav's mother ) came inside Arnav's room and found him reading a book.
"Tu bas kitabon me hi ghusa reh( You keep yourself busy in these books only)" Rashmi pushed his legs a little and settled herself on the bed.
Arnav smiled "What to do I love being with myself ...I don't like socialising. .u know that." He kept his book and aside and kept his head in her mother's lap.
Rashmi smiled and caressed his hair " yes you are shy...I know that."
"Mamma"
"Kya mamma...aisa hi raha toh...ho gayi teri shaadi( what mamma. ..if this attitude of yours continues...no body is gonna marry you)"
"Phir se Shaadi( Again marriage)"
"Arnav you will turn 29 next year...ab koi bahana nahi ( no excuses)" Rashmi showed her finger.
"Koi pasand hai tujhe ( you like someone?) " she asked.
"Nahi" Arnav nodded in no
"Toh thik hai...mujhe pasand hai ( Ok then I like someone)" Rashmi said to which Arnav at once got himself straightened.
"Kaun"
"She is my friend's daughter...Khushi...unke taraf se rishta aaya hai( they have proposed an alliance) Rashmi's smile showed her fondness for Khushi.
"Oh...toh this was your plan" Arnav said sitting on the bed.
"Jo bhi tha...but I am serious Arnav ...you can meet her tomorrow at CCD."
"Mamma you fixed the meeting also..."
"Yes...tere par bharosa nahi rakh sakti is mamle me( I can't trust you in this matter)" Rashmi said getting up and forwarded a picture which she managed to hide all this while "Khushi".
Arnav took the photograph not showing much interest but as soon as the door got shut...he immediately turned the photo and brought it in a closer periphery. ...a smile came on his face "Beautiful"
"Hai na( She is)" the photograph got dropped from his hand at the sudden voice of his mother..who seemed to be spying on his shy son.
"Mamma wo I am feeling sleepy...good night" he pulled the blanket and covered himself.
"Good night and sweet dreams...photo utha lena " Rashmi was too happy to leave this golden opportunity to tease his son.

"Aur ghabrana mat( Don't get nervous)" Rashmi said correcting Arnav's collar.
"Mamma" Arnav whined ...his mother was teasing at every given opportunity.
"Ok all the best...you are looking handsome. " she kissed his cheek.
He walked inside the cafe and started searching for her. His eyes landed on the figure which had managed to steal his heart just by a mere picture. Her beautiful innocent eyes were looking here and there...seems like she was searching for him only.
He walked towards the table "Hi...Arnav"
"Ahh..hi..." the girl stood up.
"I am sorry ..I got a bit late" Arnav apologised .
"It's ok..."
"Aap kya lengi( What would you like to have)" Arnav called the waiter.
"Ummm a hot chocolate will do" Khushi smiled and gave the order.
"So...you know why are we meeting" Arnav started hesitantly. ..
"Hmm...u want to ask something"
"Nothing as such ...aap khud hi bataiye kuch apne baare me( You tell me something about yourself)" Arnav smiled
and this is how a casual conversation began bringing them to a little ease with each other.
"So..." Arnav asked keeping his fingers crossed.
"I don't have any problem with this marriage" Khushi said shyly.
"Me too..." Arnav smiled and then both of them started looking here and there.
After a while "I think we should leave" Khushi said checking the time.
"Aah ok I will drop you" Arnav paid the bill and started walking out with Khushi.
"No..no...my sister will be coming at JP mall..so I will manage"
"Ok...aah Khushi" Arnav hesitated
"Ha"
"Wo wo...can I have your no." he finally said.
"Haan kyu nahi..." Khushi gave her number and smiled seeing his shy nature. He was a lot like her.

"So" Rashmi asked as soon as she opened the door...seemed like she was too excited.
"Achi hai..." Arnav smiled.
"Sirf achi hai...ok I get it u don't want to marry her" Rashmi said in an upset tone .
"Maine aisa toh nahi kaha(I didn't say that) Arnav at once defended himself.
Rashmi raised her brows in a teasing manner conveying she already knew it.
"I am ready" Arnav finally gave his approval.

It was all planned by Rashmi and Radhika(Khushi's mother)...both the families had already approved...they were just waiting for their kids' approval...and since it was a yes ..immediately an auspicious date was picked which was just a month away. Arnav was told to apply for leave which he gladly did.
In this month ...their talks were only limited to hi and hello...moreover Arnav was doing overtime so that he could get the leave.
Finally the day arrived.
Arnav saw his bride coming down ...he was mesmerized.
All through the wedding his eyes were not ready to leave the beautiful sight.
Soon Arnav filled vermillion in her maang to which Khushi closed her eyes.
They took the pheras and finally the couple was announced as man and wife by the priest.
They moved forward to take the elders' blessings.

"Hamare yahan Kul Devi ki puja se pehle pati patni ek saath nahi reh sakte( Husband-wife can't stay together before we worship our deity)" an elderly lady of the Raizada clan spoke.
"But Arnav is leaving for Pune tomorrow" Rashmi said.
"Rasam toh rasam hai( Rituals are rituals)" the lady didn't deter..
"It's ok mamma" Arnav kept his hand on his mother's shoulder. ..he didn't want to create a drama and then looked at Khushi who smiled in an understanding manner.
Next day...
"Aapki ye shirt rakh dun( Shall I keep this shirt)" Khushi asked Arnav . She was packing his bag as he was leaving .
"Arre I will do it"
"Koi problem nahi hai...you check your flight details" Khushi smiled.
"Sorry I am not able to take you now...but I promise next month you will be there" Arnav was feeling terrible for leaving on the second day of their marriage. ...but what to do...his boss was becoming the villain.
"Aah it's ok" Khushi lightly squeezed his hand.
FLASHBACK OVER
Arnav and Khushi reached their flat.
"It's beautiful" Khushi said taking a round .
Arnav just smiled " You must be hungry...you freshen up ..I am ordering the food. "
After an hour
Both were having their dinner in silence. Once in a while their eyes used to meet...and they just used to pass a smile. .
After having dinner...both entered the bedroom.
Both were anxious to share the same bed...they were shy ...apprehensive all at the same time.
"Right or left" Arnav finally asked.
""Right"
Both of them lay down next to each other sharing the same blanket ...which was making them feel butterflies in their stomach .
"Good night" Arnav smiled to which Khushi reciprocated " Good night"
and we shall wish the Raizada couple good night too
