Sharan pestered her the whole sight seeing trip about why she wasnt talking much, she explained to him that she was throwing up and dehydrated two days ago and so did not have any energy. Rachit was polite and classy a narang trait she thought. He waited for her to finish her coconut water, held the door open for her, walked on the side of traffic, waited for her to strap on her sandals at Someshwara Temple.. He guided her towards the shade at Queen Abakka Chowta's Fort in Ranipura.
He spoke very little though, he didnt laugh under his breath, his eyes didnt sparkle AND he wore socks
How can he wear socks she thought
They had packed a 5 star cold lunch, which Sharan insisted they have at the beach, and she was delivered back at the restaurant at 7 PM with a giant box of chocolates
Aanu in the meanwhile had called Mrudula and talked about her, she had called him in the morning to check on Trisha and was told she was out
"She was crying saying she doesnt want to pursue Ph D anymore so much studying she has done, how can she give up. Can you cheer make her cheer up?" he begged
Mrudula promised she would...
It took her a few hours...
Lissie and her agreed to take her to Bangalore.
Prakash didnt think it was a great idea. But they promised they would be with her all the time
They said Vastrabharana Craft Fair was being held at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad, and so the friends would hang, eat out and shop
Prakash offered to give them money so they could buy something for his Trishu
He was a little relieved and comforted by her friends' plan
He had spent the last couple days, disillusioned and sad, and had vented to Rao about how much pain Trisha was and how she could be like that AFTER gaining freedom
Rao didnt sermonize but had a meaningful look on his face that clearly didnt make sense to Prakash at this time
Trisha had still not turned her old cell phone number on
She looked up the generic email ID from Cuisine Craft website and had written to it asking for Ashvin's email ID
The one she had didnt seem to work
She wanted her books back
They werent returned to her
she didnt want to go to his house
Chirag responded joyously but did not give her Ashvin's email ID
"You have to tell me why you need his address. I can help you more than he can" was his lame response
She ignored it
The girls left the next night
5 days after being sick... and two after giving the Narang men a tour
They stayed near Majestic bus stand
she asked Mrudula if it would be a good idea to go get her books and journals
they said they would do it
She told them, the door man knew her and might let her in and her job might be done in less than 10 minutes
They roamed MG Road while she went to Indira Nagar
It was 8 PM ish
She was sure Ashvin would be at his watering hole
Her insides sloshed wildly as she went up the elevator
The guard, was polite and allowed to let her in and rode the elevator with her
He was about to open the door, but for courtesy he rang the door bell first and waited for a few seconds
The door OPENED
ashvin stood there with a cast around his right shoulder and arm.
The guard was startled to see a resident in a cast... he apologized and said "Maam ko books lene ka tha"
Ashvin stood staring at Trisha
She wore a peacock blue sleeveless dress, her hair shorter than usual
Her flawless skin make up free, moist and creamy after jostling with crowds on MG road
"Trisha?"
"Umm.." she felt dizzy.. she held the wall
He stepped aside waiting for her to go in
"You are hurt?" she squeaked waving a arm
He nodded, his glasses, and his stubble making him appear vulnerable
He wore navy shorts and a white tee, slit open under his right arm..
His sparkling mischievous eyes creating havoc inside
" I swear...With no real hair, unable to catch a lizard, BLIND and now handicapped" he whispered... amused, nodding sadly
Every word of his felt like a tongue stroke on her skin... her color rising gloriously.
