Oh my god, it took me a bit more than an hour, but I got the entire set for like $24 (!!!!).
https://www.kobo.com/us/en has a promo code for 90% off: DSCVR90BK
It expires 7/21/17 but it's been there since 2016 I think?
Kobo books are great if you have a Kobo ereader, but I don't ... so I had to use a de-DRM software to get the program. I used
Calibre (free) and the
deDRM Plugin (free)
Grabbed some $10 books for $1 as well. Fortunately, the sellers get the full amount, so all's well that ends well?
I'll share some excerpts as well here and there.
Steps were:
1) Create Kobo account -> purchase book. (err website is Kobo.com)
2) Go into 'my account' -> "my books"
3) click 3 dots under book image, and click "download"; click "download file". This saves it in a .acsm file.
4) You need adobe digital edition (http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html), so download that. Create an Adobe ID (free) if you don't have one.
5) Your ADE (adobe digital edition) location is: (<user>\My Documents\My Digital Editions on Windows, ~/Documents/Digital Editions on Mac) so move the .acsm files there
6) in ADE, click file, add to library, and change the file format to .acsm so it reveals all the .acsm files.
7) Select and import.
8) Let it download the books.
9) Download Calibre and follow the instructions on the DeDRM page to install the plugin. Restart calibre.
10) Move the downloaded .epub books (see the file location of ADE) into Calibre. DRM should be removed!
If anyone wants more info or anything, feel free to shoot me a PM.
