With three sets of twins, Craig and Carrie Kosinski already have a remarkable quirk to their family.
Then things get quirkier.
On just one day a year, the children's birthdays are celebrated - all six of them.
February 28 is the day they were coincidently all born.
Almost four years ago, a woman contacted the Kosinskis and asked if they would be open to adopting her twins.
"She said she was pregnant and wasn't able to give the babies the lives they deserved and wanted to put them up for adoption," Carrie Kosinski said.
Adalynn and Kenna, were born on February 28, 2014.
A year later, that same friend reached out again to see if the couple could adopt her older set of twins as well, to which the Kosinskis agreed.
JJ and CeCe were born on February 28, 2013.
In October of 2015, the Kosinskis found out that they themselves were expecting twins.
The twins' due date was June 12, 2016, but Carrie's water broke frighteningly early at 19 weeks and, after six weeks of hospital bedrest, she gave birth to Clarissa and Karraline by emergency c-section " again on February 28, 2016.
Aside from a few developmental delays, Clarissa and Karraline are progressing well.
Carrie said there are no traditions yet for the group celebration, but she hopes to set some in the future.
"That day will forever be super special in our hearts," she said.
