The two favourite bahus of Indian television, Tulsi aka Smriti Irani met with Parvati aka Sakshi Tanwar. Their reunion was captured by their mentor and good friend Ekta Kapoor.
Lately, Ekta and Sakshi were in Delhi for ALT Balaji's launch and later, they met Smriti. Sharing the picture Ekta wrote, "Two stalwarts ! D twains meet in delhi."
Both Smriti and Sakshi started their career with Ekta's most popular shows , Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki'. Both the shows were very popular in television. In Kyunki Saas Bhi...' Smriti enacted the role of Tulsi while in Kahaani Ghar...', Sakshi enact the role of Parvati. Both the role became very popular on Indian television.
While Sakshi continues her television journey, Smriti has shifted from acting to politics. Sakshi will next been seen in Ekta Kapoor's web series Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat' opposite Ram Kapoor. Sakshi and Ram's chemistry was so very much liked in Bade Acche Lagte Hai' that audiences again desire to see them on-screen together.
Sakshi accompanied Ekta to the launch of ALT Balaji, which happened in Delhi. Regarding her new show, Sakshi was quoted by a leading daily as saying, "We are confident about the show because we have same audience like before, it was our destiny we got so much of hype in the past." Ekta said, "As a producer last year, we didn't have a good experience, so we decided to come up with something, so here we are. This is the very first time I am shooting for shorter episodes; there will be series less than 20 episodes, which will definitely explore some never seen before stuff."
