Come on, if we too agree with these stuff then whenever our favourite's films comes or there is a new song we find ourselves saying love it, amazing what not.

there has not been any new song that would last for 15 years in today time, today its like song is released and forgotten within a month until something next comes up i wonder would ankit , arijit would be known after 15 years from now 😃 ... 90 and 2000 songs are still remembered and some of them represent the actors of 90 aura like pehla nasha pehla khumar, papa kehte hain bara naam karega amir khan ,...and  tujey ddekha toh jana sanam ... suraj huwa madham , yeh dil dewana , kal ho na ho , kuch kuch hota hai these songs represent shahrukh khan .., tumse milne ke tamana hai pyar ka iradaha hai aur ek wada hai janam ...bhout pyar karte hain ...aja shaam hone aye ...tere naam , just chill , jene ke hain char din , bindya chamke chori khanke , o o jane jana dhonde tujey dewana , sun zara soniye kind of songs represent salman ...earlier songs used to had chemistry with actors thats why those songs are still remembered and played when ever these actor came on stage ...today things are different music dont have any connection to actors ...era has passed but shahrukh khan when ever comes the background score is played from his eariler hits of 90 and 2000 because those songs were the identity of shahrukh khan ...gerwa from dilwale came became hit and now they dont play gerwa for srk introduction in any live show or award function ..

Also, did Arijit say that Tum Hi Ho was recorded in three parts?! If so, then I have even more respect for the previous generation of singers. No autotune, recording in one go, singing live just like in the studio, etc.

Yeah, I guess they are used sometimes, but in most tributes, like the Mirchi Awards one a couple of years ago, they primarily used songs from the 1990s and the 2000-2005 period. SRK was singing along to parts of Jadoo Teri Nazar. It was quite sweet.
