Mohit Chauhan and Neeraj Shridhar

On this forum, people often rave about Arijit Singh, and the ones who dislike him get nostalgic about the nineties and early naughties. I often see songs of Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, KK and Shaan posted on this forum. However, before Honey Singh and Arijit, and after the likes of Udit, Sonu, etc, there was a period around 2008-10, when Mohit Chauhan and Neeraj Shridhar were singing ever other song. I love many of their songs and do wonder why they don't get to sing much in BW anymore.

Mohit was Ranbir's voice for a while.

Mohit still should be Ranbir's voice.. Mohit's voice matches Ranbir Kapoor and they look good together. I was hopping that Mohit will form the same Jodi as Mukish and Raj Kapoor did many years ago.

Love most of Mohit Chauhan songs

^^He hardly gets opportunities nowadays. Strange. The only song that he sang recently in a major film was Bolo Har Har.

i love mohit's  voice it suits rk ,i think we hear more of arjith's songs these days cause may be directors think its a safe bet and the song instantly becomes popular rather than gambling on someone else
also i think most singers have short shelf life
i think this year we may think this singer might become big but they find someone else every day there is new reality singing show coming with new singers waiting ,right no it is arjith but after a while it may be someone else
one thing i dont get is these judges praise the new reality singers like they are the next big thing but they end up without a trace especially the winners all they do is end up being stage singers
