Surbhi reluctantly leaves from there but an idea sparkles in her head. She hastily goes to her room and takes some amount of money. She takes her mobile phone and comes out hastily to take her bicycle. The moment she squeezes the key into the hole of the bicycle
Mohan: Areh! beti tum kidhar ja rahi ho?
Surbhi(perplexedly): Papa, me kuch kitabe garidne ja rahi hu
Mohan: kaunsi books? Aur itni jaldi kya hai, phle tum fresh hokar avo aur nashtha karo, phir jao.. She wanted to kick her bicycle but
Preethi (comes with a hidden smile and asks): ye RP kaun hai beta? Surbhi(startled): ma.. Aapne mera inbox kholke pada? Kyu ma?
Preethi: usme itni buri bath kya he? Me tumhari ma hu muje pura haq he tumhara mobile check karne ka..chod! tu nahi batayengi to me 12th page read karne ja rahi hu..
Surbhi(sarcastically): jayiye..Aapko apne aap mil jayega
Preethi: tum kyu mera majak uda rahi ho?
Surbhi: Maa.. Jab tak pura nahi hoga tab tak papa akhbar nahi dene vale..
Preethi: aa sahi he... Preethi goes back to her household duties. Surbhi too leaves from there with great disappointment and eagerly waits for him to finish reading.
After a while both Saswat n Surbhi walk to and fro restlessly and the moment Mohan puts the newspaper on the table, they start running as if something very delicious is beckoning them. To sister's tough luck, her brother wins in taking the paper first and laughs at her
Surbhi(angrily): Chote! Mujhe do.. me kab tak intazar kar rahi hu
Saswat: jake tumhara kam kar..Pehle mene wait kiya. Jao..
Surbhi(pleadingly) tho 12 panna muje de do plz chotu...
Saswat(teasing her more): Mene bola na nahi milega..
Surbhi(pushing him) bilkul papa ki tarah hai..(tum aajki cricket ka khel nahi dekhega.. she plots something in her mind)
At that time, she gets call from her best friend. Before she can say hello, the other end starts chattering
Friend: hello dear..Tumne pada?Kitna maza aaya.. wo jo line he na humor sense or common sense ke bare me the way she talks...
Surbhi(out of anger and frustration):Bas!!!!!!!!!!
Friend(startled) kya hua? Tumne nahi pada?
Surbhi(sadly) nahi..aur tune kya kiya.. iske bare me kal muje batana chahiye tha.. Friend: ye tum kya keh rahi ho? aaj ka newspaper me kal kaise dekhungi? Me to koyi Nostradamus nahi hu..tu bi na RP ka sabse bada bevkoof fan he..Maubark! Surbhi: abe oy..mujhe bevkoof mat kehna..badi aayi khetan fan!
Friend: Are chod yaar ye sab..aur kya bath hai? Batao kya huva?
Surbhi (tells everything in detail): tumko patha he mene bahar jake akhbar kharidane vali thi lekin Papa ne mujhe ijazath nahi di..aur ye saswat bi na..
Friend: fikar math karo.. me aa rahi hu.. hum sambhal lenge uske
Surbhi(happily): Thik he jaldi aa javo As soon as she cuts the call, a girl is seen standing in front of her with a sheet of paper in her hands.
Surbhi (embarrassed n excited in a loud tone): Nikki!!!! Tu yaha? kya entry maara he.. tum rocker rocket se aagayi.. she searches for something as if there is some rocket behind her.
From the kitchen, hearing the noise
Preethi: Surbhi, kaun hai waha?
"Me hu maa.."
Preethi: Aaha! Nikhila beti...me abhi aati hu...mujhe tumse zaruri baath karni hai
Surbhi: (aside) inko koyi kaam nahi hai kya??? Then asks her..Areh..Maa.. wo kahi nahi ja rahi he..tum aarame se baat karlo..Nikki.. aavo chath pe chalthe he..They go to the terrace and Surbhi caresses the treasure in her hands. After a few minutes! Surbhi (excitedly opens it and searches the interview column): kidhar he yaar?
Nikhila(in a stylish tone): Wo udhar niche he.. pad lo maja lelo..she hums a song walking to and fro... "Ambar se aayi he pariyon ki rani..dekh iss .." and stops when she hears somebody reading a news on earthquake. she looks around n wonders looking at Surbhi.
Surbhi( angrily reads): Earthquake devastates Port-au-Prince, Haiti. It is the region's worst earthquake in 200 years. The death toll was 200,000 people.
Nikhila: ye tum kya pad rahi ho? seismology me research karne ka koyi plan he?
Surbhi: (angrily) nahi.. ek plan he..Throwing that 14th sheet she goes to beat her best friend. But Nikhila has already understood that she's in trouble and runs from there..
Nikhila(keeping some distance): meri baat sunlo yaar..
Surbhi: kya sunlu? tu na duniya ki sabse badi bevakhoof ho..ithni badi aakhe hai..phir bhi sahi panna dekh nahi pathi..aur itni jaldi se aagayi wo bi galthi paper udaakkar..
Nikhila: me to ek filmy entry maarna chahti di..lekin "galthi ho gayi yaar...
Surbhi(frustratedly) : Oh! Kya filmy entry maara hai...first shot se ek dam flop!
Nikhila: Arey..chod yaar.. abhi newspaper uske hath me he na? Chalo kuch karthe he
Surbhi: ha
Nikhila(walks in slow motion): "Chalo" she extends her right hand to Surbhi but gets stuck as her best friend gives her a bewildered gesture. "kya hua"
Surbhi: kuch nahi..bas ek request hai..overacting math karna.. slow motion ke bina hum chal sakte he na?
Nikhila(smilingly): tu bi na...chalo.. Mission Newspaper is on! They give each other a high five!!! (Exit)
