AK To Play Haryanvi Cop
Arjun Kapoor recently started shooting for Anees Bazmee's next film Mubarakan, which also features Anil Kapoor in the lead. The actor is currently shooting in Chandigarh and we hear that he has decided to do various kinds of films including commercial as well as offbeat films. So when Dibakar Banerjee, who is writing a thriller, thought of approaching Arjun Kapoor for his next film, the actor said yes after a narration.
A source close to the actor reveals, "Dibakar's film demands Arjun to play a Haryanvi cop and Arjun loved his character and also the film. It's a dark thriller set in North India. Arjun has said yes to Banerjee but the latter is yet to finish the final draft of the script."
The film will be produced by Yash Raj Films and shot next year in the winter. It will be shot in 60 days. The director is on the lookout for two more leading actors.
Super Hit Pair Returns
Yes, the super duper hit jodi of Agneepath is back! After the super success of Agneepath, both Hrithik Roshan and director Karan Malhotra had been wanting to work together but were waiting for a great script to work on. So, recently, after Malhotra completed his next script, he narrated it to Roshan and the actor loved it so much that he instantly said yes. So, once again, after their 2012 outing, which was Malhotra's debut film as a director, the duo will work together again. While the film goes on the floors next year, pre-production will start early next year.

Guess Who?
Who doesn't know that the director is the captain of the ship? But what if the captain wants to keep playing captain to the actors he has launched? So there's this director who recently launched two very promising newcomers in a love story and the film went on to break many records. Ever since, the director has become the self-appointed godfather of these two actors. In other words, whenever anyone tries to approach the two actors, they have to go through this director.
Recently, a senior director who has been making films for a decade, called the director and asked if he could meet the actors. This director asked the senior director to first send the script to him and said he could meet the actors only if he liked the script.
The senior director was furious. He told the other director that he had delivered many hits but, unlike this director, had never allowed success to go to his head.-----
Guess Who?
Sure, our industry is all about fame and wealth. But, usually, actors raise their remuneration after delivering a few hits. Still, this actor who was launched by a corporate house early this year opposite a Pakistani actress, and whose film bombed at the box office, has jumped the gun.
Yes, the actor who hadn't signed any film after his debut, was approached by a filmmaker for a medium-budget film. It was a strong role but he took the director completely by surprise when he quoted '1 crore as his remuneration. This, with only one film - a flop! - under his belt.
