Why is Nikhil teaming with Tanu?

Could someone please help me with this answer?

I am not a regular viewer of this show, but from what I remember watching last year was that Nikhil wanted Tanu and their child in his life.

So why is he now teaming up with Tanu to get Abhi n Tanu married?

I thought I replied to this topic.. but don't see my reply. Nevermind.

Nikhil initially wanted the baby but once he realized Abhi is rich and there is a potential to get easy money, he wanted Tannu to marry and divorce Abhi so that they can get some money that way.

Now he is more greedy and wants to acquire Abhi's wealth!

Thankyou. Now it looks he is not even concerned with Tanu n the child and is only willing to get to Abhi
