Wow! BCL goes international
Ekta Kapoor is all set to make her Box Cricket League (BCL) international. More than 50 TV actors along with Ekta will be going to San Francisco in July to play matches. Four teams have been selected to go abroad.
While three top qualified teams are from the Champions League that concluded recently, one is chosen by a popularity poll. The four teams that will travel include Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur and Kolkata, but these matches will not be televised.
Says Ekta, "BCL has had a fantastic response this year. We are now ready to take the property to the global audience, so we're headed to San Francisco."
Box cricket League (BCL) as a property is owned by Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms), Sunny Arora and Anand Mishra (Marinating films). Frooti BCL Season 2 on Colors was talked about for it's high entertainment value.
