can women in india and pakistan wear jeans

i read somewhere that it is not common in small cities like jodhpur to wear jeans
so is it common ?
or do people look down the women who wear it.
i think its common in mumbai and karanchi to wear jeans
but why people have issue if small cities girl wear it.
lot of indian tv show hardly show women in jeans .

Of course they can and they do. Although I live in neither country, it's obvious that they do. Indian serials are the last thing you should go by to judge what people in India wear. I'm pretty sure women in India don't sleep in heavy jewelry, full makeup and nine yard sarees either. 😆

Woman wearing jeans is not looked down upon anywhere apart from villages where it is unthinkable.. Cities, big or small. no problem
