Its been barely two weeks since Rahul Sharma entered 'Satrangi Sasural' as the new male lead and now the show is wrapping up on March 26 2016.
Obviously, the actor, whose entry marked Ravish Desai's (the original hero) exit, is upset about the development. He says, "I am disappointed about the channel's decision to pull the plug on the show within 20 days of my entry. It can't be an outcome of poor ratings as two weeks is a short period to establish yourself. I am heartbroken as I came with high hopes and invested a lot of energy to establish the character. I have not been informed about the reason behind this overnight development."
What has added to his woes is the fact that he had shared his concern about the fate of the show with the production house. "There have been several reports about the show shutting down. When I asked them before signing the project, they told me it wouldn't happen anytime soon," he says.
