Over & Begin
Ofcourse there was no meeting up during the weekend
Aadhya begged her a 100 times, she called that other lil girl Kanika's Mom
She didnt have her number, so she had to call the play school
The play school owners were a focused money minded couple that would stay up 365 days a year if they could
What began as a one location enterprise was now n three locations in Trans Yamuna
The husband answered and he tok exactly 17 minutes to share Kanika's mother's phone number
Suvi had written it down some place the night she went looking for her dabbas at Neel's and forgotten completely
She endured the man Narender Singh's "bakwas" as Mumbaiyas said for 17 minutes and got the number
"Aap yaha aa jao, hamare location se sirf paach minat hai, main chhod deta hoon aapko" he said boldly
She refused and called Kanika's Mom and set up a play date at her house, Kanika and Aadhya played quietly in the AC bedroom
It was too hot to go any where or do anything
She was in no mood to either she sat on the chair in the far corner of the bedroom and dozed all Sunday afternoon
Evening ish she took the girls and got them mehandi at the nearby beauty parlor on their left hand and she got mehandi on both hers
Bought the girls burger, while she ate chowmein since she had mehandi
She had made aloo curry and rice for Tai
She ordered chow mein, in a moment of weakness and took for Tai
Dropped the girl off and returned at around 9:30
The weather was considerably tolerable
Tai sat watching TV
Aadhya ran to her to show her her mehandi "Aai got in both hands" she gushed
Suvi's was half way up her arm, a few inches down from her elbow
"I am happy you got it doll, why did your mother get one, for her everything is over no?" Tai asked softly
Suvi picked up the chow mein she had placed on a plate, filled up a bowl and set in the frig
And cursed herself for not being able to take a shower on such a hot night
Did anyway around 11:30 unmindful of the mehandi
And went to bed at midnight... staring out the window at the street lights down below

Instabreakfast was again visiting with no breakfast this time, when she went to get her coffee
She wore a white chikan suit and a orange gurjari dupatta
Her two friends loved her mehandi
Thanks to new age chemicals and additives it had turned crimson
She fille dup her coffee the sales guy from Insta waited for his coffee
"Like the story board" he said
"Its too preliminary... family theme gets everyone sentimental" Suvi chuckled cynically
He cudnt get coffee to come out
Suvi smacked the machine, as Neel walked in
He noticed her mehandi just when the Insta guy did
"Congrats" Insta guy said
"Kyon?" she asked, as the coffee machine sputtered and came back to life
"Are u engaged?" he asked
"arey nahi, meri paas 5 saal ki beti hai" "Why shud henna always mean wedding?" she asked miffed
"Paas?" he chuckled, nitpicking on her Hindi
"I dont speak Hindi, I am a Maharashtrian" she said offended
Neel felt smug... he had mocked her multiple times, and she had never once looked hurt
So she liked it?
"Sorry, yaha aisi baat nahi karte na Dilli mein" Insta said
"I took my daughter and her friend to get some on her hand, I got on both of mine" she said
"Hello Neel" she said smiling politely, trying not to be uncomfortable
"Suvechha" he said blandly, and watched the slow color rise up her face
He hoped she was thinking about how he tormented her to say his name and how he said hers like that when he kissed her
"Aaj hai inka final?" she asked, making polite conversation
"Inka final to tab hoga jab yeh chahenge" he said looking at the Insta guy
"Boss ur Hindi is to die for" the guy gushed
"thanks" he said carelessly
Suvi squirmed at the statement and looked away
"U signed not one but all three copies, u had to leave the pink insert alone"
Payal cooed handing him a pen that was in her mouth
Suvi couldnt watch it she left for her desk
"Whats the occasion for the henna?" Neel asked her in his deep voice, when they sat around for a meeting
"Shaadi mein gaya hoyega rey yeh" Gomez spoke over confidently
She shook her head
"Time pass" she said like a mumbaiya quickly hiding her hands from his view, taking them under the table
The other men around the desk noticing that rapid concealment
