'Meri Saasu Maa' is a story of Pari and her pursuit to find a mother in her mother-in-law. Bhavna Devi, addressed as 'Maa Saab', is a strict matriarch and believes that daughters-in-law have to be kept within strict boundaries and can never become a 'daughter'. In a twist of fate, Maa Saab and Pari get together as SAAS-BAHU and  embark on a beautiful journey in accepting each other as 'Mother' and 'Daughter'



Hiba Nawab  Hiba Nawab As Pari Sinha

Pari is a self-assured and courageous girl who loves her family. Hailing from a lower middle class family, she wants to pursue her career path as a teacher. Comfortable in her own skin, she is able to deal with discrimination without getting upset. A lively girl, she enjoys the smaller things in life, is spontaneous and talks fast when she is excited. Because she never had a mother when she grew up she is very sentimental. She is impatient and easily frustrated. Pari usually takes care of her family and often forgets to take care of herself, earning her the nick-name 'Jhalli'. She has always yearned for a mother's love and hopes to find a mother in her 'mother-in-law'.



Pearl V Puri Pearl V Puri As Satyendra Sharma (Sattu)

Satyendra is a handsome eligible bachelor staying in Lucknow. He comes from a rich family and is Maa Saab's son. He wants to ensure that his family is taken care of and will do anything to see his mother happy as he is the apple of her eye. Satyendra treats his body like a temple and also considers work as worship. He is responsible, hardworking and is usually the peace maker in the family. Standing for the truth, he opposes what is wrong. He however, is never given due credit for his hard work.


Anindita Kapileshwari Anindita Kapileshwari As Bhawna Devi/Maa Saab

Maa Saab is the head of the Sharma Clan 'Doodh Sagar wale'. She has single-handedly managed a family of four sons and takes care of her family's welfare. She is also responsible for the functioning and growth of the family business. She is a strict disciplinarian and believes that a daughter-in-law can never be a daughter.



Prithvi Sankhala Prithvi Sankhala As Ramesh Sinha

Ramesh, Pari's father is a maths teacher in a public school and dresses up like a clerk. He has already been married once before and is from a lower middle class background. His priority isn't making money but a having a good character. Ramesh has two daughters that he wishes to marry to respectable men. His main belief is that respect is everything and he dislikes the way his wife behaves towards Pari. He loves his daughter Pari and fears that her life will be miserable because of his wife's attitude towards her.



Raashul Tandon Raashul Tandon As Manjle Bhaiyya (Sarvesh Sharma)

Manjle Bhaiyya  has a feminine side to him and loves to be in the spotlight. He is very meticulous with the way he dresses and presents himself. He is married and comes from a well reputed family. Maa Saab considers him to be her favorite son and he shares a close relationship with her. Although he is a foodie, he always manages to remain slim. He is an excellent communicator and is able to manipulate anyone.



Tanvi Dogra As Choti Bhabi (Babita Sharma)

Choti Bhabi is a loud but good looking woman. She is from a middle class family married into a rich family. She is the youngest of Maa Saab's bahus and her dream is to win the title of Mrs. Lucknow. She has a close relationship with Suman and believes that beauty is everything. Choti Bhabi dislikes working in the kitchen or taking orders from anyone. She never gives up and usually gets what she wants but is also afraid that her husband will leave her.



 Nina SharmaAs Daddo

Daddo is a widow. She comes from a rich and powerful family and her children have done well in life.  Daddo is the mother of three sons and a great grandmother. Daddo believes that everything Ma Saab is doing is for the good of the family. Extremely pious, she loves listening to Bhajans and eating Prasad Ke Laddus. It has always been her dream to see all her children healthy, happy, and doing well.


Krishna SoniAs Bade Bhaiyya (Kamlesh Sharma)

Bade Bhaiya is married and rich. He is the elder son of Maa Saab and a part of the Doodhsagar clan. His wife is his confidant and the major influence in his life. His ambition is to make sure that his daughters and wife should have a luxurious life. Bade Bhaiya has a razor sharp and cunning mind and he wants to buy a dream home and have his daughters married in style.


Suman Kanth As Maasi Ma (Shashikala Devi)

Maasi Maa is the second wife of Ramesh Sinha. She dreams to be rich even though she is married to a maths teacher in a public school. Maasi Ma believes that money is everything and wants to have a good life. Her daughter is Kusum and wishes that she gets married to a rich man so her daughter's life will not be like hers.



 Arpita Amar As Meera Sinha

Meera is the charming and pretty daughter of Ramesh and Shashikala. She is in the 12th standard and dreams of being a rich and famous actress. Sharing a close relationship with her mother, she also shares her dislike for Pari. She loves to sing and dance and her greatest fear is dying poor.
