He held Nivi's hand, II carried a sleepy Sahana
They were whisked away by Air France First, walked through Crew/Priority Immigration
Between the 7 there was less than 5 seats left over in First Class, thankfully most of it empty except for a
not so kind French woman who was just about ready to crack the window open and fling a twin out
He waited outside in the visitor area
The flight was at 1 AM, so the kids were really tired
The moment they saw their Dad they lunged and grabbed him
II handed a sleepy Sahana, she bounced like a ball of jello
Giggling, arching stiffening, convulsing in excitement
He hugged her closed and inhaled the shikakai scent from her hair and groaned
Her curls shiny her hair sticking to her head nice and smooth
II left some oil on her scalp usually
Nivi smiled shyly
R&B was in a quandry
He rarely went to"get someone" at the airport
TThe last 10 years, had been a windfall, it went from wife, pregnant wife and Dad, wife baby and Dad,

He picked Nivi up she leaned embarrassed
Sahana slobber punched her "Hey get off my man!!"
"Nooo" he cooed to Sahana
"When Amma holds me also she doesnt like it"
Mavvy and Ranjan took the boys to pee
The boys returned
R&B asked them how they rescued Mavvy from adbuktors
Hed brought a friend's van
French cars were small, OK people in Fr drove small cars usually
Mavvy looked dazed
R&B enquired about how he held up during the flight
"Hum to eka hee jagah mein baithe," he said sheepishly
"What about you?" he asked his wife
She smiled softly going on her toes, Ranjan pretended to load luggage in the car
As R&B kissed his wife, Nivi shut her eyes with her hand smiling, and slid down and began chasing the twins, as Ranjan herded the three
Sahana stared boldly
"Enna dee?" challenged II, Sahana grunted
I see u exchanged slobber with the man, are u shameless?" asked Sahana
II reached and kissed R&B again "Ayyo... I missed the whisker" she graoned rubbing her thumb over the manly chin
She gently wiped lipstick off his lower lip
"I am going to stay up and kiss him all night, do what u can" II groaned
"Can I stay up too?" R&B whispered
"Umm.. only if u insist" II whispered
"Good flight?" he asked caringly
"Nooo.." II shook her head
"What was wrong they said?"
"They dont say no!!" "They boarded us and waited at the gate for 2 hours and 24 mins" II complained
"Was nIvi scared?' he asked
"No she started to sleep"
"What about the boys?"
"ayyo, kekaade da, one grumpy old French lady almost used her pen knife and slit the window open. I am going on some Aur France no fly list I think" II whined
He kissed Sahana firmly on the cheek
"They look cute" he said looking at the identical terrors
French passengers leaving the airport, paused smiled, and some even asked if they could take pictures, one in a t-rex night suit the other in a tarantula suit
Ved carried a furry tarantula with him
Sahana screamed each time he put it on her hair
"Dont buy them toys that will land them in jail" "they left the tarantula on the French woman's seat when she went for bathroom, NOT intentionally Phew!!!
They were racing their hot wheels cars on the cabin floor, when she returned, she almost brought the plane down" II finally laughed until her belly ached🤣
Mavvy helped load everything, to him there was no "vacation"
R&B gently held his elbow and let the sky ground crew help
When they got to 8th Arrondissement the sun was out bright and shining
It was well past 11 AM
The boys first went to the bedroom and jumped on the bed
They wore jammies that wrapped around the feet, and had slippers on em
II wanted them to be zipped in something like space suits to keep them off grime
But they had their hands and face, it was caked in dirt
Sahana rolled on the living room floor trying to eat her toes, she had just begun scooting on her butt at 6 months
This was her first trip to Paris
Mavvy refused to sit on the couch in the living room
Scratching his head sheepishly
Ranjan mumbled "Baith jaayin puttar, koi gall nahi"
R&B fixed a fresh batch of coffee and threw toast in and started making omelette
When Mavvy heard sound of pots and pans he rushed in and kicked R&B out
R&B wandered out of the kitchen and picked up his rolling ball of flesh daughter from the floor
Ved rolled on the day bed in the bedroom
Sid was peeking out the balcony with Ranjan on watch
II was loading laundry in the washer
R&B picked up Ved, smoothed those luscious locks away from the face and kissed his cheek
"Mavvy Uncle ate sawbubby" Ved tattled on poor Mavvy who ate the last of the straw berries on the plane
"Thats not good" he cooed, Sahana kicked him
R&B handed the monster to his wife and hugged Ved
"Ru dick a wiss"😳 Ved said firmly with his lil soft pink lips, trying to sound out ridiculous like an adult!!
