Bombay High Court acquitted Salman Khan of all charges in the 2002 hit and run case. I remember you rejoicing when he was sentenced by the Sessions Court and I said that he will file an appeal and get away. Looks like I was right when all I wished for was to be wrong on this count. I can't find any technical fault in the clippings of the judgement which have been released. But such a botched up job by the authorities in all these years left no room for the judges to do anything else.

Yesterday I was feeling vindicated when I read about a number of army jawans being punished for human rights violations in Kashmir. Felt that it was a good news of justice on the eve of World Human Rights day. But today it is that day and Salman Khan gets acquitted.
Kya balance kiya nature ne😕

That is why they say Kanoon is andha because judgements are based on hard core evidence and many times even knowing that justice...as we see it is not being meted out, one can't do much. My rant is not with the judgement but if the defence can manipulate evidence, why can't prosecution because clearly he's guilty!

I agree Shru. Big time. But the court stands by the law of evidence which doesn't involve general opinion. The court is supposed to remain impartial to media speculations or the like. That's the basis of judiciary and something like this can't b changed based on individual cases. What irks me is that they botched it up so bad in the initial stages. The prime witness died out of poverty and tuberculosis! How could the government let that happen? That singer Kamaal Khan was apparently in the car and he was never examined. Why these blunders??

I guess the Maharashtra government will appeal to the Supreme Court because of public outrage. But what can it do except go by the book? Frustrating!

Recipe??

Take a coffee mug and add:-
4 spoon wheat flour
4 spoon choc powder
4spoon sugar(you can add more if u like it)
2tablespoon oil or butter
Half cup milk( or less till you get a good consistency)
Choco chips
Baking soda( a pinch or more)

Whisk it well and bake; when you smell chocolate take it out and check if the knife comes out clear and you are done. I got it out in less than 2 minutes.
