Good to see kala and Kavitha here.
Not sure if kavitha is in chennai now.
But ,kala, hope you only had power probs and did not have to contend with water stagnation.

I see that after this Friday, there could be a let up. Hang on , ppl in chennai

We are all ok! Didn't have power, telephone, or internet for most of the week. But thankfully water didn't enter the house. Just 5 mins away from us though-people were inundated--many have lost most of their possessions, some their lives. We have been trying to get some supplies and necessities to those who are in need, but stores and such are running out of supplies. They are calling for more rain until the end of the week...not sure whether to laugh in disbelief or cry.

This is tough. I was speaking to my aunt yday. She said the power's back on but her belly starts churning when she starts to see dark clouds forming over and she starts praying no more please.. I completely understand when you say don't know whether to laugh or cry.
