Hey everyone, all is fine here in delhi but it was such a panic for bout 15 mins.
On one hand hubby was calling to move down everyone,,, instructing not to use lift,, take care of Papag and Mummyg kids wooh I was so scared but at the end it ended and alls well!!
Hope everyone else r also fine!!

I tempt him of 21 angels visiting MM for the Kanjak puja

I fear Appa called him and the conversation that would have ensued dread

I feel a certain comfort to confide him my worries and fears

He wishes me in our Paris Home I wish him in MM

Every call we torment the other and hope we never have to stay apart

Amma has stoically borne the constraints of her married life in Delhi

I know she misses Madurai and Chennai and longs to visit them frequently

Akka and I had been home attending to chores making time for her to be away

Now our altered states make it seem tough to be at DII to give her the time

I am blessed with a family and home that would welcome Periappa and anybody else I invite

My Appa though will think it a dereliction of his duty to pass it on us

Golu is here, soon Diwali time flies by and soon I'll be too full to offer help

Amma would definitely not accept it then. Appa I hope will soon relent

Akka, Amma, Rakshanan , Dad and Sam will be with me

Athim will tow Appa's line and think it is to show one upmanship

It has been my desire to have Periappa with me. Amma and Appa may not come here to stay

Akka and Athim have too many factors tying them to Munirka

My Rakshashan is hardly here, the 20 odd rooms seem eerie and quiet.

I wish Appa and my Dude shared the comfort and ease of Athim,

Things then would be so smooth and easy to move and not a pain it now is.

Shru, I live in a town of nobodies I guess, so no Bollywood connections here, a decade and a half ago Raveena Tandon's SIL lived here, (Anil Thadani's sister)
So when Raveena visited the local Desi grocer almost had a heart attack in delirium. Thats the closest we will ever get to Bollywood

In my town most act like they dont watch ANY Desi TV or movies. Like John F Kennedy is their Chacha and George Washington is their pardada
Its quite beneath their stature to be seen discussing soaps or cinema
(Ask them what Ben Carson's policy on Iran is, they wont know, but we wont go there since it will end up proving they are morons)

I can proudly say I havent taken one selfie, nor pouted for any picture, at home nor at parties.(Real reason: I am not 20 anymore)

(I watched a woman recently at a traffic jam, that spent a good 10 minutes pretty herself up, and take a series of pouty pictures,
pulling her hair all over her face and leaning on the steering etc. quite comical)

My town is mostly people that walk around gloating how perfect life is WITHOUT gloating ofcourse
From perfectly planned Gujarat vacations, to taking yearly kids pictures amidst Fall colors, to knowing when elaichi shud be added to kheer,
what kind of clay was used for making the kullar like the hand crafted chai cup, the kind they picked up from some Mumbai street vendor
after stiffing him (bargaining a dozen for Rs.40)😡
There is a smug satisfaction to it all.

One gori wife used the B word for the principal of the local science magnet because her Asperger teen was denied admission
The same woman who sniggers and smirks "Indian kids are so unfortunate, they dont follow their heart"
 "Parents force them at gun point to study Science and Math"
"The kids will never love what they do, because all they are being taught is to do what the parents want for them"
etc etc etc,
Strangely she was found cussing the Principal because her child couldnt get into the much "useless Science program"??
No "following the heart" for her teen either I guess... Howlarious!!

Its so easy to be cocky and filled with hubris that you control everything
Only when life falls apart you realize NOTHING goes according to plan, and there is no plan to begin with.😭

Hey all,

I went to work yesterday afternoon,  my laptop gave me a strange Citrix (Remote Access) error, last night when I logged on I got the same error,

I called IS, the guy that helped me said "he was going to remotely reboot my PC"
I  was refusing to accept a Citrix prompt for a new version for three months, I thought I should accept the prompt and load it, it installed successfully, but my PC is now stuck on my boot password screen

ARGHHH!!

I tried calling my Site security so they can go input my boot password (dont even know if they would do that) but I got a automated message.

I will run to work soon
