R&B just walked to the balcony and checked email, shoving his ear bud into his eyes

Nobody talked to Sam for a bit

"What is going on in our house?" she asked shocked

"Ask him its his wife" Manny mumbled

R&B looked up from his phone

"Is Tan home?" R&B walked over to the phone and bend down to talk

"Haan hain" Sam said fearfully... kyon?"


"Can u tell him I am calling him please?" R&B said completely unconcered about his sisters' drama

"R&B can we talk" Sam asked softly

"Not right now"

"Are u OK?" Sam asked

"Why wouldnt I be?" he asked with an incredulous look

"Manya seems upset" Sam offered softly

"Over what?" R&B asked as if he didnt know

Manya glared at him for shurgging off the "grief"

"U are on speaker BTW" R&B picked up Manya's phone, it asked for password when the light came on, Manya keyed it in quietly

R&B hit the speaker icon, Manya was deflated? She reluctantly got up and went in to take a shower?

"How are u?" Sam asked caringly

"Good" R&B nodded walking to the balcony

"She is really upset" Sam whispered

R&B was confused, Sam never got carried away usually by Manya's antics
He wondered what Manya told Sam

"Over what?" R&B asked as if he was clueless

"Badi ladai hui? she said u kicked Dad out of the room"

R&B chuckled

"TU HAS RAHA HAI?" Sam shrieked


"He reminded me shes pregnant and tired" R&B chuckled

"What did u do to her?" Sam asked terrified

"I cant believe u are asking me that"

He wondered if Sam thought he hit II
"Ridiculous!!" he said to himself

"We just made out for a bit and I got a rain check on sex" he said flatly

"Chhheee I DIDNT NEED TO KNOW" Sam yelled

"U asked, so u shall know" he mumbled

"Was it a bad fight?" Sam began again

"I dont have the user guide that helps me measure" he was sarcastic

"I am sorry" Sam backed off, apologizing

It was her brother's way of saying "Shudnt u mind ur own biz"

"Hey R&B u know Manny, after what shes been through, shes just afraid?"

He didnt respond...

"Please?" Sam begged

"Dad called me too he said, she shud either quit or get that goddamn degree and return to India. Makarand was here last night for dinner with Mukund, he seems like a really nice guy"

"So we are setting her up now?" he smirked

"She set herself up, we are just background checking him" Sam chuckled amused

R&B didnt say anything... he waited

"Dont u wish she would settle down?"


"u mean get married?" he asked

"Kuch bhi... u know"

"she will if she wants to" he said casually

He never really interfered in his siblings' love life

"U can wish for things, cant really force it" he gently reprimanded her

"WHY CANT WE? FOR THE ONES WE LOVE?" Sam cried

"U can try" he shrugged

"SAB karte hain..." Sam went on the defensive

"When Vik approached me for a venture, she walked away" he reminded

Sam nodded wearily, Sam forced herself to like Vik, going above and beyond by even forcing Tan to hang with him every minute Manya and him were dating

"She met him ON A PLANE" Sam was digusted and angry at Manya

He grunted cynically

He didnt believe in "matches made in heaven" or arranged marriages"

"Many meet on planes" he gently dinged her for her prejudice

"But YOU KNOW what I mean" Sam was irritated

Manya was still in the shower it looked like when he walked inside

"she will live with who she likes Sam" R&B reminded his sister to adopt his approach

"NOT ALL OF US CAN BE ALOOF" Sam hissed crying "some of us care enough to set things right" "Or steer things" Sam mocked his detached nature

"And? how did it work out for you with Vik" he lashed back

Just caught up with good and bad and steer. 😲

So Manny goes ballistic and calls Sam??
And thinks that WW X was all II's fault. She's now like II trying to get between Bala and Vandu. Only the reason is Mannyish. II's ripping of her Brother. Well they are a couple and she cannot get in between. Manny is protecting her Brother from his happiness that she thinks is a conspiracy. I understand her coloured glasses but talking of M and II is way too wrong. Not her business really. Thank God II was asleep. Paavam she does not deserve to hear that!!

And dude didn't get her. For him That's a normal situation between him and II and this time they did not have the privacy it needed and Ranjan and Manny got to know about it! He pushes right back with no theatrics 😳 no meri biwi air mere beech math anna and all that 😳. He gets but doesn't think much of it.. He wants Sam to leave her alone and expects Manny to do the same with him.

Ok I just love the way the dude handles situations he knows how and what ti say by not sounding offensive it's not that he doesn't love his siblings but he knows his limits as to how much he can interfere tats something ii needs to learn from him tat will avoid a lot of misery for her.
