He watched her with tearful eyes as her cousins escort her to the stage and made her sit beside vishesh. The man who is getting engage to his taani. His taani? He doesn't have right to call her his anymore. She is not his and he, himself is the reason for that. His fake break up drove her away from him. In trying to make her independent, he had broke their relation with his own hands.
Their eyes met, her eyes held the same pain. He wanted to question her, If it pain her then why she is doing this? Is it her way to punish him for his mistake?
How much he want to go back in past and undo all the mistakes he had commented. He wants to tell her how much he loves her but coudn't bring himself to tell her. From which right he will tell her when he himself broke her heart. All she wanted was some moments with him, spend rest of life as Taani Reyaansh Singhania, was it wrong on her part to dream about their future?
He fell for the innocent beauty she is then why he wished to change her? It was wrong in his part, he knew. He vowed to never hurt her but all he had given her is nothing but pain. He had always been the reason of her tears but when he wants to mend his every mistake she is not there to give him a second chance.
He wants to shower his love on her, tell her how much he loves her. His day starts with her thoughts and end with hers only. She is the only thing in his mind. Her presence in his life gives new meaning to his existence. She might be not his anymore but he will hers only till his last breath. He was sure after giving his heart to her he won't be able to love anyone else that is not her.
He loves her, he wants her back in his life but..Its too late. Isn't it?

For world, it was the happiest day of her life since it's the day of her engagement, a new begining of her life but is really? She is not happy, she knew it and she knew rey knew it as well but then why this engagement? Was it because she didn't wanted to reject her best friend who loves her from childhood. She didn't wanted him to go through the same pain she had went through when she was rejected by her love.
She lowered her eyelashes as her eyes filled up with tears. She couldn't see him in pain and knowing she is the reason of his pain, hurt her more. Her heart twitched painfully, she love him, she still love him madly but her heart is scared to get hurt again.
She wished that he hadn't broke their relation by doing that fake break up instead come and talk to her then their lives would been different, they would have been together. If only..but it was too late now. She is ready to start her new life with her best friend but is she really ready for that? No, she wasn't ready but she is trying her hardest to move on but it wasn't easy as it says. Forgetting him is like forgetting herself. In present, she might be not his but She will cherish those beautiful moments she had spent with him till her last breath.

Now, It was time for them to exchange the rings. He couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't see his love with someone else. He turned around to move out from there but a voice stopped him from behind.
"Reyaansh."
Rey turned and saw vishesh staring at him. Rey watched him in confusion as he held taani's hand and stepped down from the stage. Everyone stare at them curiously. His gaze was fixed over her, she was looking beautiful but he didn't had right to admire her, right? He thought painfully.
"Where are you going, Reyaansh? Apni taani ko chodkar.." Vishes questioned him while Rey stare at the man before him in confusion. He glance at taani, who was staring back at him with tear in his eyes.
"I know you both love each other and i would never want to be the reason of your separation. Taani mujhe pta hai humara rishta sirf ek samjhota hai, pyaar ka nahi. I know i'm late to realize that but as they say, it's never too late so here i am. Mujhe samajh aa gaya, Reyaansh, Taani sirf Rey ki hai. Taani par sirf Rey ka haq hai." Vishesh spoke as he gave taani's hand in Rey's. And moved away from there, leaving the love birds staring at each other with longing for each other visible in their eyes.
"Taani, accept him. No one can loves you the way he does. You both are meant to be, Tumhare krishnaji ne tumhe Rey ke liye hi banaya hai.." Vishesh's voice broke their trance. A small smile made its way on her face as she registered his words. May be he was right. She should stop running away from her feelings and accept him again.
"Taani sirf Rey ki hai." She mumbled softly as she hugged her sliding her arms around his torso. While he was too shock too react, he couldn't believe she is in his arms, his heart was thumping loudly against his ribcage. She is his, finally, she accepted him.
Rey hugged her by sliding his arms around her waist. He lifted her up and twirl her around while their friends hooted seeing the reunion of two souls who are so incomplete with out each other.
"Sirf meri!" Rey whipered back, kissing her forehead, he hugged her once again. A sighed escaped her lips when he pulled her into his protective embrace. She was in her home, where she truly belong.
