Nisha, last few chapters have been amazing from Dude asking about Mom's scarf to not explicitly denying he doesn't care for his Dad. In real life you actually do not want to change the setting of things as your loved one once placed it. Even small things like placing things in kitchen and keeping particular groceries item in same dabba. Forget about discarding anything. Even when you know you never will use these things still cannot bring yourself to discard it. The way you are writing this tale is Just amazing. I can so relate to some parts. Thank you.
