So like Manya to wake up and demand her right to be told, but not overly concerned about hanging around her sick father. She's like most ppl who would say that since there are others already to care for Ranjan, she wasn't needed much. Not that she doesn't care. Just not the kind to go overboard with worry.

I so get you. What is this bond? This love? It seems to defy most reasonable explanations of human attachment. Till today only Nivi, the girl was real to me. Now I am looking at her through her mother's eyes and oh! I can't even explain how I'm feeling for the latter! This is the hardest thing that people ever ever have to do in life. 

Recently, I've been worrying about some issues regarding my career. So much so that it had consumed a good part of my week without me doing anything productive. But when I read about such situations, my compass automatically reverts back to what is really important in life. It makes me count my blessings, albeit among tears for another.
