I would have understood had Manik only talked about pushing Dhruv to earn Alya's forgiveness but here he is trying to hook them up which is why Nandu will be like,"hang on, does she even love him". Thats the point .

I have seen enough soaps both Indian and shows on NBC,CBS and ABC, to know that to keep a show running ,there is always a screen play formulas. This formula allows for development of story lines without disconnecting the viewer.

In KY2..Manna is the main storylien-which writes/CV's are doing a pretty decent job.

Side stories..you can only have 2..so in a half hour show,your main story takes 10-12 minutes and you focus 5 mins each on the other 2 sub-plots.Here right now..we have Aryaman's revenge plan, Harshad and Mukti-wierd love story and lame plans, Alya's eating disorder,Navya's pregnancy and the Talent Hunt.

Too many sub plots...some knots need to be unraveled quickly for us to connect with them.

At the end of day, isn't this categorized as drama? Now let's take all the loop holes you have mentioned, Aryamaan's revenge is just fresh off the boat, and we have yet to see the climax. Harshad & Mukti's love story will only come out with Harshad and Nyo's equation, which I believe will be last straw of this show. Aliya's eating disorder is very common (depression like symptoms) case which teenager goes through, especially after a heartbreak, I for once am glad CV bringing this subject into the limelight, and hoping to get some social message across the youth who watches this show. And finally Navya's pregnancy, this is probably the only track I wish them to put a closure to, but then it will change Navya and Cabir's equation, which I really enjoy watching, so not sure if I want this track to end any time soon. The talent hunt, after all they are in collage, they gotta to show something to show case their talent ;)

The whole college is aware of Manik and Nandini's intense dislike of each other...so for them to see these two walking hand in hand in the corridors looking deeply in love is definitely an eye popping event. i think all those stares were warranted.

The love confession today was ok for me...random perhaps but i liked the randomness. was so youthful and real..this is how the youngsters discuss things...abrupt and to the point..jumping from one topic to another.

I think it would have been possible if both the partners were mature enough to let the past be in the past but here they aren't. So while I wasn't averse to the CVs exploring this angle, I am against Dhrulya getting back together again because the damage to their relationship is too deep and irrepairable in my view. I think Dhruv should break away from Fab 5 and set out on his own not because he can't stand Fab 5 but because he cares enough to not ruin the fabric of the band which has been strained because of his own foolish and intolerable behaviour. They can show how the friends still stay connected even if they are not part of the same band.

That scene was for Nandini , holding Manik's hand in public and be chill about it. Her "Haq" type thing, while earlier hugs and random hand-holding were situational , this was them coming out as a couple properly.

MaNan publicly hugged each other and sang together in the FC...Zehnaseeb?...multiple times they've had close moments together publicly in the corridors grabbing each other and dragging each other into rooms. The hatred and all has long been passe for the college audience when it comes to MaNan.

Yeh toh writers choose to play this up for convenience, bas nothing else...there isn't much logic or precedence in this scenario to justify otherwise.
