Is the Saas getting married or son?

Okay so I dont get it. I almost feel like Dhruv mother is getting married. She is being so weird. Shouldn't Druv be the one to decide what type of girl he needs. Why is the mother showing so much interest. I think she should just help Dhruv with the selection.
