The director has approached Emraan for Aamir's role
Two bickering college kids fall in love and get married against their parents' wishes. Let's face it, Dil had a hackneyed plot but it worked like a charm. Why? Because of Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit, of course!
You must have already heard that director Indra Kumar will soon be making Dil 2. Now, here's what we heard.
The director has approached Emraan Hashmi to play the male lead. We're yet to see whether Emraan gives his nod or not.
And for Madhuri's role? Kumar is casting his daughter Shweta Kumar. Did you say Shweta who? The girl who was launched in Super Nani. Still draw a blank? We completely understand.
Obviously, Super Nani did not get Shweta the kind of launch that she was hoping for. So daddy dearest will re-launch her, in a way, with Dil 2.
To believe that Shweta will essay Madhuri's role! Clearly, someone's suffering from Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon syndrome.
