i have a roommate who is from tripura.when you guys tells about this ekta serials n indian soap,i used to ask her.(now i m not at hostel).and she says about serials with multiple marriages divorces abortion cheating plasti surgeries coma and what not!!!the only one serial i saw in doordarshan was meher.and that too had multiple marriages coma plastic surgery crap!!!

Yaar this trend has started by her.
It has spread to all languages channels like malaria now. Two sisters and friends cannot sit and watch these serials together.
Because she shows husband cheating on wife with her friend or sister.
She will sew the doubts in their minds.
