It's not just the senior actors who have to do some daredevilry when it comes to shooting scenes for TV. Ruhanika Dhawan and Gautam Ahuja, the child actors of Ye Hai Mohabbatein, were recently part of a fire sequence on the show.
Sources say that the kids were quite scared and their parents had to be present at the time of the shoot to keep them calm. Mona, Gautam's mother, said, "It was scary, but the kids were quite excited. Shooting the sequence was difficult since everything was lit up and the children had to stand inside the ring of fire. It was quite hot at the time of the shoot and every time the director said 'cut', we had to get them out of that place."
Ruhanika's mother added, "This was the first time Ruhanika was doing something like this. She was looking forward to the sequence, but I was quite apprehensive. However, we were convinced that safety measures were in place and that no harm would come to the kid
