1. The word "Appreciate" in itself means to have a highly favorable opinion of someone or something. You are supposed to appraise the value of the work of the actors and express them in positive light. A thread where all the fans of the Actor/Characters gather to discuss what they liked.

2. In an essence Constructive criticism/Positive Outlook towards Actors/Characters, must prevail in these threads.

3. Members must understand that, discussions are restricted in ATs.  ATs are safe zones for the Actor/s fans to exchange information without being subject to negativity. You have the main forum to present opinions which calls for discussions and debates. All discussions related to actor's performance, looks, style and personality can be confined to  ATs  and keep the discussion of story tracks restricted to just the character and his/her scenes with other characters. Please refrain from analyzing and discussing scenes which are not directly/indirectly related to the actor/character of this AT , in particular when they imply stating negative opinions. However we do  allow minimum chatting in ATs, provided it is related to this AT alone.

4. Please refrain from bringing and discussing other general topics of the main forum into  the AT. If you find anything offending in the main forum, report it with crisp and clear notes, without bringing them to the ATs.

5. Please refrain from any negative/bashful/insulting comments against any actor/character/member/DT. If members of an AT are caught discussing other actors/characters/fan groups/DT negatively, then AT will be held liable for it and may be subject to warnings & eventual closure/Ban as follows.

6. Admins/Monitors of the AT (Those who are opening the AT will be called the Admins/Monitors) will report  the troublemakers or problematic members of the AT to the DT  in a timely manner, so that the AT/other genuine fans are not penalized for it. Here the Admins have a big responsibility and so we believe them to be totally unbiased as the whole responsibility of a AT is on them.

7. Lastly - When an AT reaches 150 pages, hit the report button and add this "AT reached 150 Pages", the DT will close it as we can not have two ATs open at the same time.

Note to Draupadi AT members - Any extreme reactions or discussions of  topics related to Karna Draupadi love angle or otherwise, shouldn't be discussed in this AT. All  fan wars in the forum(between characters or actors)  must be refrained in this ATThe scenes being discussed/speculated should normally have some basis through the show/storyline (direct scenes between these two characters). Off late, there have been comments which were criticizing the character Karna, but it should be restricted to the context of the scene. We welcome constructive criticism but any criticism that is meant to tear another character or insult will not be entertained here. Remember there is a very thin line between criticism and bashing which the members easily forget. Just because a character is negative or disliked by particular fans , it does not give members the license to resort to extreme character bashing so please co operate with us as we have amended this particular rule in Karna AT and the same goes here for the Draupadi AT as well.  A forum can function well only if the mods and members cooperate and have the same goal - to achieve a peaceful forum.

Draupadi

There are few women in Hindu mythology who were aggressive and who spoke their mind in a world of men. Draupadi was one of them. She is considered by many as the first feminist of Indian mythology. At the time of her birth, a celestial voice had proclaimed: "This unparalleled beauty has taken birth to uproot theKauravas and establish the rule of religion". The circumstances leading to her birth began to take shape while her father was yet young.

From the second offering in the yagya performd by Drupad a full-grown daughter emerged, whose dazzle blinded the eye. She was Draupadi. WhenDraupadi emerged from the fire there was an oracle that she would side with God against the evil Kauravas.

She was born omniscient (Sarvagna, All Knowing), adorned with all the ornaments, youthful, she does not have old age and she is the most beautiful woman in the three worlds. She had the special presence of Uma in her. She possessed all the auspicious physical features.

In Mahabharatha it is mentioned in couple of places that Draupadi is the incarnation of Parvati. Its implication is explained here by using the word "umAMshayuktaa nitaraaM". Meaning though she had the presence of Shaci, Shyamala, Usha, one of the chapters in LakshaaLaMkara explains that presence of Parvathi was greater than the other three:

Draupadi of the Mahabharata In Hindu mythology, few women stand out as much as the character of Draupadi. Draupadi is the wife of the five Pandava princes in the Hindu epic the Mahabharata; she is a heroine who is unpredictable, unwavering and who could also possess the austerity of a traditional Hindu wife. Many see Draupadi as an early feminist because of her fearlessness in admonishing those who harmed her or her family. Draupadi existed in a time when a woman's role was to serve herhusband.

The unique relationship between Draupadi and her husbands is what makes her story so exceptional. Draupadi, the wife of the mighty Pandava brothers was anything but a conventional wife; she was smart, bold and would often lead her husbands into action.  Draupadi's fearlessness and uncompromising nature makes her of great importance in the history of mythological women and of women today.

Draupadi, meaning daughter of Drupad, was known by several other names as well. As the princess of the kingdom of Panchal she was known as Panchali. As the grand daughter of Prushata she was known as Parsati. ( Draupadi is ayonija, not born of woman). Draupadi is born of fire and therefore, often referred to as Yagnyaseni. She is also called Krishnaa because she was copper skinned, fiery eyed and had long, black hair. She was gifted with blue-lotus fragrance wafting for a full kosha (2 miles) and hence was called Yojanagandha (she whose fragrance can be felt for miles). Draupadi alone enjoys the unique relationship of sakhi  with her sakha Krishna. She was a true virgin, and has a mind of her very own.
