He straightened from the wall, II jumped off the stool again
"I wont go Sam" she began to cry
"Shhhshhh I know... U dont have to: Sam said eye signalling her brother to back off
"Lada tumse? yeh?" Sam asked
"I will not go back with him"
"Dad ki kya galti batao?" Sam asked softly, cajoling her like she was a 5 year old"Dad to tumhe miss karenge na?"
"Ummm... ummm.. Dad??" II had a "Yeh to maine socha hi nahi" look

"I dont want to go back to that house and live with him" II said
"will you live with him here?" Sam asked trying her best not to tease
II looked up at Sam "You are ridiculing me" she said shocked

"NOO!!! Pfff!! I mean I fight with them and go to Akka's" II admitted with child like honesty
"Aur ab US se ladkar mere paas aayi aaj?" Sam asked hugging her warmly, "So I am like Vandita for you?" Sam asked in awe🤗
"I came to you because I was wrong, I had to apologize" II said remorsefully... a lump in her throat "AND you are like Akka, except you dont fight much"😕
"Shhh" I know... Shhh" Sam shushed her
"BUT I dont like him" II reminded Sam, stiffening
"I agree hes not very likeable"😉 Sam spoke on her head, her chin resting on II's head, she eye scolded R&B, as she shushed him
he watched with his half smile
"Can I stay with you or not?" II WENT BACK TO HER ORIGINAL QUESTION... ALL OVER AGAIN
She was a nag, like a child... complete nag
"Meri baat suno, tum aaj raat ko Dad ke saamne waale kamre mein so jao, you will feel better in the morning"😆
"WHY CANT I SLEEP HERE?" II began to cry
"Dekho yeh aaya hai tumhe lene, bechaara" Sam began
"I DIDNT EVEN ASK HIM TO COME" II shouted "He yelled at me, and now he is here to prove he is innocent"
"Tum ekdum chup chaap sunti rahi?" Sam asked
"NO!!! I gave it back to him... but I dont want to go back with him"
Sam would have chewed on a block of wood in frustration... even Nandu didnt drive her so crazy
Sam sat her down, wiped her tears off "Dad must be hungry, khaana nahi khaaya hoga, shudnt u go eat with him?"
"Tell him to eat no?" II ordered
"Woh kha lenge?" Sam asked
"WHY NOT? I MADE A MISTAKE, Woh bechaare bhooke kyon rahe?"
"He wont eat until you go" Sam said "Isne bhi nahi khaaya hoga"
"HE WOULD HAVE EATEN" II accused looking at her husband
She wanted to be unreasonably angry at him, she wanted to accuse him of things he never did, and may do in the future
"Dad ko to khilao ghar jaakar" Sam nodded
"He would never wait for me... he would have gone to bed, he came because Dad sent him" II rained. "I feel terrible about hurting Dad and you. NOT ONE BIT ABOUT HIM"
"I agree, very insensitive, very uncaring" Sam agreed
"Dad would have stayed up looking for me, he would have been in the balcony reading" "Or in the office talking in French" II accused
"Not nice " I understand
"But ghar jaogi to yeh sab dikhega na?" Sam suggested
"U want me to go?" II asked shocked
Sam nodded
"U havent forgiven me then?" II said bluntly, laying her head down on her arms resting on the white marble counter
"Ayyyoo!! Ayyo is a great word!! BUT Arghhh!!!" Sam cursed softly unable to get through to her "Ishitaaa!" she pleaded, no response from her sis in law
She whispered to R&B "WHAT DO U DO WITH HER?" "HOW do u handle her?" baffled🤣
He walked up, as Sam stepped back
Quietly abandoning her sister in law
II looked up after 10 minutes, teary eyed... "TUMMM?" she asked angrily
Jumping off the stool... "Go away" she said
"II" he began "Its really late lets go"
"PLEASE... GO... I am NOt going back with you, please gloat if you want, Sam hates me, she doesnt want to deal with me.
I am too annoying" II cried "
He sensed Sam's approval, Sam's love was very important to her she wouldnt want to lose it at any cost, she had come here at 10, to apologize and beg to be forgiven
He realized Sam and her were beginning to share a special bond, seeing Sam upset had caused her to feel completely devastated,
Sam's asking her to leave, in jest, had hurt her immensely. The crisis with Manya had brought one thing out in the open, II would do anything to get Sam's love
"You saw it all, she doesnt even want me staying with her" "Since I suck at holding on to people and relationships, you were right yet again!!
you should just go home and celebrate" she sobbed into her hands
"Enough II" he said pulling her by her elbows, they struggled, and tussled... "II" he warned softly
