One always looks forward to a movie from a big production house as it guarantees, if not all the time but mostly, good entertainment for the audience. But what if you have, not one, but thee big production houses teaming up to make a movie? Obviously, there's something very special about the project!
Well, we're talking about Excel Entertainments' next venture yet untitled being directed by Nitya Mehra featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in the lead. The two production houses teaming up with Excel are Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures.
Since there are three giants involved in the making of this project, rest assured it will be a film to look forward to.

After the success of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol's last outing as an on-screen couple in My Name Is Khan (MNIK) five years ago, the film industry is headed towards a major collaboration which will soon be announced. The latest buzz is that producers of MNIK, Fox Star Studios and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, have decided to collaborate for a multiple film deal.
We tried getting in touch with both production houses but they were unavailable for comment.

A famous fashion photographer is the latest entrant to the producers' league. Atul Kasbekar will turn producer with Ram Madhwani's next, which features Sonam Kapoor as the lead. Kasbekar confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, my company Bling will be co-producing Ram Madhwani's next featuring Sonam Kapoor along with Fox Star Studios."
The film, which will soon go on floors, is about flight attendant Neeraja Bhanot of the hijacked Pan Am flight in 1986. Bhanot died while saving 250 lives during the hijacking incident.

Box Office India was the first one to tell you that Vishal Bhardwaj has started reworking his long-standing project Julia, based on Mary Evans Wadia aka Fearless Nadia. A source close to the film reveals, "Vishal recently visited Manipur for a recce where he plans to shoot his next film. The hunt for the star cast is also on and he will be casting local actors from Manipur."
According to close associates of Bhardwaj, the film will start rolling by the end of this year.

Akshay Kumar's OMG-Oh My God! was a super hit film and after its success, the makers announced a sequel to the film. They even asked the director to start prep on the film. But after films like PK and Dharam Sankat Mein which are on the similar concept, the producers are re-thinking their decision of a sequel. In fact, the producers are wondering whether to can the sequel idea altogether.
A source close to the film reveals, "There was a script written for the sequel but now it seems such a concept will no longer appeal to the masses. That's why the project has been put on hold. Given the current situation, they don't want to do a religion-based movie. Unless they come up with another out-of-the-box idea dealing with faith, they will not start the sequel."

After winning multiple awards across categories at popular awards, they have gone on to win at the most prestigious award ceremony in India - the National Film Awards, where the film bagged five awards. We've had a legion of legendary actors in Bollywood but no one comes close to Amitabh Bachchan. His star power and charisma are so magnetic that every debutant actor wants to work with Bachchan at least once in their career, or at least share the stage with him.
But here's a googly - is there someone with whom Bachhcan wants to work? Yes, we were recently told that Bachchan has asked filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh to script a film which will feature himself and his favourite actor - Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. You see, Big B wants to share screen space with the power-house actor and work with him at least once.
It is said after watching Siddiqui's powerful performance in Badlapur, Bachchan called Ghosh for a meeting and asked him to write this script. Replying to our text, Ghosh confirmed this, saying, Yes'.

Well, well... it seems like the most natural choice for actor to turn producer sooner or later. All our big actors have started their own banners and they are either producing or co-producing their movies. That's not all. There are some who definitely don't rank up there with the stars but are still launching their own banners. The latest to join this bandwagon is none other than Sunny Leone. Time was when a producer would release a still of his film hope that there would be a distributor who would approach him to clinch a deal. Things haven't changed much and now, a production makes a set-up and waits for a corporate house to approach them to clinch a deal.
Sometimes it works and before the movie is even complete, their film is sold out. But there are a few producers who keep revealing tidbits of their films, hoping and praying they can snag a deal from a corporate house Alas, it doesn't always work.
That's what this film has encountered. In fact, the producer even announced the release date and spread the news in the film trade but, to date, no one has shown any interest. To make things worse, another film was recently announced to be released on the same date and the irony is, the director is the same for both projects. Sad but true!
