Ooo ya ya ya get her to wear her choli with 2 strings over her Saree and go to baby shower

Otherwise put her in a pair of jeans with a white long men's shirt and a single diamond stud nose ring and matching earrings to watch PK only to bump into Rythm with Vandu and Bala (my fav TV couple in the world) - let's make her even more blue!!!

Seriously think about it, unless India has changed dramatically in the last 15 years.. I think middle class girls still fear shame and bekaar ki publicity

Atleast all the single 20 something Iyer girls in my extended family do

I based it unknowingly on them I think

Might be prudish in today's India who knows... but all the young ones are like that in my family

Talking about sex and having multiple partners before marriage is still taboo

And also she discussing with her Vandu Akka fosho

In most conservative homes maybe moms and daughters don't discuss but deffo siblings do discuss faltu ke news items otherwise you tell me why do the papers and news channels have to dedicate time and energy for 3 days on salman khan ki adopted sister ki shaadi

The reason she is very nervous and fearful is because she was raised very conservatively

Her parents still dont know she had the encounter(s) with Subbu

They will never know either

IN THAT THING, I based her on my extended family

Most of my nieces get married according to their parents choice... and are happy... shockingly u know

It still seems to be working well in my family

So like many authors I DREW on personal examples I guess
