Tripti - This is totally contrary to what CVs showed in an episode where Jodha was reading Humayun Nama written by GB just before MM's death 😆. So 15 years back, even though she had learnt to read hard core Urdu, she has still not learnt to speak two or three simple everyday words 😡- So much for CV's genius and continuity in characterization - We are Certified fools to be analyzing this much in EK's JA .

BTW, want to ask this Q - How many languages did Akbar speak fluently ? TURKS, Persian, Hindustani/Hindi/Devnagiri and Urdu ? Is there anything else ? And what was the official or most spoken language in Royal Court during Akbar's reign?
