After watching countless shows on Krishna I want to read about him. Can someone please suggest books/ blogs/ websites? I tried the sacred text website but it has ramayan, mahabharat, bhagwad geeta, but i couldn't find a link for Krishna as a whole.

Some books on Krishna..
Apart from Srimad Bhagavatam (given above), which is by the way, THE BOOK on Krishna, you could read these books:
Sri Radhakrsna Ganoddesa Dipika, which is not a story actually, but is an index of Krishna's family and friends in Gokula and Vrindavana. It has descriptions from Yashoda and Nanda's family members, to the types of people in Gokul, and Krishna's best friends, Radha's best friends, their pet animals, their favourite trees, their hobbies, etc etc. You get the point. You can read the Dipika here:

You could also read the Lalita Madhava and Vidagdha Madhava of Srila Rupa Goswami. While these are not the Puranic versions, they are written out of imagination, but on the command of Satyabhama, the wife of Krishna, and make quite interesting reading.
http://www.harekrsna.com/philosophy/bmgs/goswamis/writings.htm (in this link check under Rupa Goswami). It might be a little long, and u might have to be a little glued to the computer, but whenever you find time, you can read it!

I'll suggest you to read Krishna Coriolis series by Ashok banker. Its a 8 book series, not the one book which you wanted but you won't regret. Story telling is amazing and its quite addicting and the good thing is they told story both evil and good pov ..It will remind you of Amar chitra katha which we used to read during in our good old time .. :)

Also you can read the series Krishnavataar by K M Munshi. It is a seven part series published by Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan. Wonderful Portrayal of Krishna as a real life character with stories from different purans along with the imagination of Munshiji. It has helped me a lot in understanding the character and its predicament.
