Eva Grover, last seen in Bade Achhe Laggte Hain before quitting it in June, 2012, is back on the tube. She will play mother to Mishkat Verma, male lead in Rajan Shahi's Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. Interestingly, Shahi had approached her to play a mother in his first show as well, but things didn't materialise and the role finally went to Seema Kapoor.
Eva confirms, "I play a young, enterprising mother and will be seen in designer saris and formal western attires. It's a challenge to do a positive role."
Though she played mom to Ram Kapoor in her previous show, she was his evil step-mother. So, was she averse to playing mother to a grown-up? "The character is stylish and modern. My look is similar to how I dress in real life. Actresses younger than me are playing mothers to grown-ups, so what is the big deal?"
