Rudra -an ego of loss?

Clash of the egos is not an uncommon thing at home and also at the office. We all have witnessed many arguments that began due to the clash of egos of two individuals. The clash of egos can happen with anyone and everyone whether you are at home or in office.

What exactly is an ego? Is it the hurt of one's self respect? Is it the pain? What is it in Rudra's case? Is it an ego of loss?

When we experience a huge heart break we hold on to that loss with all of our heart and soul. There is a natural evolution that is part of A HEALING CYCLE: Mourn. Heal. Rebuild. Re-Enter. Millions of people in this world get caught up in the automatic setting of loss, which is identifying themselves with the event of loss and with their self.

You see mourning takes place, healing begins but it never ends for the rebuilding and re-entering phase to start. When we lose something or someone our heart breaks because we have to detach from that person.

Detachment is tough.

And Rudra has done nothing different.

It's not easy to go on with life.  I feel Rudra's rude behavior to Myrah is a fear of betrayal.  Betrayal to Paro. The fear and guilt feeling to replace her with her look alike and disappointing himself and breaking the Promise Tu, main... hamesha... maybe in the whole even breaking his son's expectations and his poor little heart

So you are saying he is afraid of getting attracted to her ?

No, he is afraid of her reminding him of Paro, and bringing back the memories, so he is in pain again.

ek dum jhakkas post 👍🏼 agree with each and every word , we should understand that the man has lost so much , anybody can turn bitter in such situation , he never had a good life not even a good childhood , his ego , his bitterness is the only defense he has  to keep away any more reasons to be hurt , last time he allowed someone to heal him , he was left with even more scars , what else can we expect from him now .😃

but that means he is not willing to move on. And why is he afraid? Why is this causing him pain?

Wonderful post.
Never thought of it in that point of view.
When people are hurt not once but very often in life by a lot of people you grow to be bitter. That bitterness soon turn's to anger and ego and to avoid getting hurt by people your anger becomes your defence mechanism to cope. Cope against being hurt ever again.

Thank you for liking my post.
Yes life has always seperated him from them who he loved the most. Destiny has been really cruel to him. He doesn't want to be hurt again infact he is more afraid of the hurt and pain his son might have to go through.

The anger in Rudra's case is the failure of not beeing able to save Paro. And leaving BSD must have also somehow affected his ego even when it was his own wish. As it was something he equally loved. And disattaching yourself from something you loved unconditionally and beyond any limits may make one really bitter.
